  1. Two degrees, whoop-de-doo, am I supposed to be impressed? Teachers are often not that bright either. I know of at least one who repeatedly failed GCSE Maths. As StuPot says, she's doesn't have to do it and I imagine it's a pretty easy job for most of the year. That said, I wouldn't do the job anyway without being paid a massive salary. Why? Because it simply doesn't appeal to me and I can earn much more doing other (more interesting and more dynamic) things that don't involve 'teaching' pikey kids who will never amount to anything on this planet.
  2. Everyone loves their own kids and think they're special, even though they're usually not, so I don't really see the relevance of looking at one's own kids here. More relevant is that I do interview and employ people coming out of the education system and, rest assured, ostensibly bright people are often far from it and 'good' qualifications are not a reliable guide at all. Standards are definitely down so, take it from me, there are way too many thick people in this country. It seems, Michael, that it is you who hasn't got a clue what you're talking about.
  3. benjii is spot on here. The fact there are some teachers on here and others are married to teachers doesn't mean he is wrong and it certainly doesn't change the fact that the system is churning out thicky after thicky. We are now largely a nation of complete thickies and at least part of that blame is attributable to teachers. Let's face it, if they had any real value to add they'd be making much more cash in the real world. "Those can, do, those who can't, teach" etc...
  4. Taxpayer cash shouldn't be spent sending kids on jollies. Parents, quite rightly, should stump up for that.
  5. Can we see your collection please?
  6. Maybe people should consider whether they can afford kids before they actually have the poor little f*ckers. Pikeys.
  7. I'm sure his parents will keep him safe.
  8. Jack Dee is the best. Other notable mentions for Stewart Lee, George Carlin and Bill Hicks. Russell Brand is unbelievably unfunny as is that camp tw*t, Alan Carr. Michael McIntyre isn't that funny either.
  9. How is talking about your personal situation in any way "correcting" Johnny Bognor on his point? It doesn't "correct" him at all.
  10. Apparently not.
  11. I believe they're playing somewhere else in the UK over summer, but can't remember where and can't find the email, dammit, and it isn't on their website yet. I think it is Reading, which I can't go to. I would deffo like to see them again though, even if the legend that is Jim Martin isn't playing. Cheers re stream info - I was away for the weekend but will seek out some decent downloads.
  12. Ponty, did you see them at Download? Superb album and I tried to get tickets for their Brixton gig, but no luck. Interested to hear how they were from anyone who went. Back on topic, I've been to a couple of gigs this week: Suicidal Tendencies and Anthrax, both excellent and the latter being one of the best gigs I have ever been to. So I've been listening to Anthrax almost none stop. Superb. They have a new album out in October, played a few new ones and they were pretty good.

  14. I thought most people knew Kenny Everett was dead.
  15. Ah, "customers", is that what they call punters these days?
  16. Pathetic.
  17. Any men that do this are dirty logpushers. Women who do this are generally ugly and/or slags.

Pleasantly surprised you didn't use a spade.

Yet more evidence that there needs to be a pikey cull in this country.
  20. Jonathan Ross as well. A face one would never tire of punching.
  21. Whenever Michael Winner is on TV. What a c * ckhole.
  22. I wouldn't allow bender stuff either.
  23. Well I, for one, am glad we will be seeing less of this spotty little sh * t. Hopefully Didier Dogbag will be next.
  24. Wearing any sort of non-uniform badge/ribbon on any kind of uniform looks scruffy, so I wouldn't allow it either. I'm also fairly sure that the cold hard cash is appreciated more than seeing the Sun reading public wearing these pathetic badges.
  25. They are very well paid and rewarded (in terms of benefits) for what they do and they need to get back to work, the bunch of lazy waste of space c * nts.
