Amazing how Blackpool are signing up all the potential CCC and L1 purchases. Either Hollaway has a good eye or he is taking an almighty risk hoping that CCC and L1 players will keep Blackpool alive in the prem.

A good strategy for when they get relegated back to the Championship. They may become another West Brom going up/down all the time.

Just finished Dexter season 4.

What an ending!

Season 5 starts in the US in September - which I may just watch somehow.

Another show coming on there is The Walking Dead, 6 part horror/drama. It it sticks close to the comic it should be tense stuff. Also has Andrew Lincoln as the lead - a bit of a departure from This Life, Teachers and British TV!

Had a lolage when back in the UK for hols - went to meet Daughter in Leicester Square (she works in London). The premier was on while we sat and drank a beer and talked, her BF phonedhe said "I'm having a beer with Dad & Jackie Chan.." BF says yeah right at which point through massive speakers right by us Jackie goes HELLO!

 

Sweet - he really was fooled for about 5mins

 

Not sure if Jackie will be up to sequels though. Man he looks like he is getting Sooooooooooooooooo old

The cinematic trailer looks really good along with the general premise of the game. However I am not prepared to pay £10 - £15 a month for any MMO.

yes this has been doing the rounds for a couple weeks. He reportedly wanted £80,000 a month. Would be an awesome signing, dont care that he is 35, he has stayed fit, just look at what Scholes is doing at Manure

The Karate Kid

Although I still maintain that this should have been called The Kung-Fu Kid, I have to admit its not as bad as I thought it would be. Jackie Chan does well in a serious western role but Smith's kid is annoying but the fights seemed brutal for the kids!

I can see a couple of sequels though, one where Jackie Chan goes to America (the opposite to Karate Kid II) and then the third following the orignal Karate Kid III story closely.

I saw Dani Sinha outside the BBC studios in town today. Have to admit she is much hotter in person than on camera.

Seriously though are you saying that at 0-0 Saints should be losing? So in your book thats alright but if Saints we're trailing 0-1 and people said we should be winning you'd be having none of it?

It's a shame there are three threads about this now, but Cortese's arrogant stupidity on this utterly pointless matter is making the club a complete embarrassment when we could be basking in the glory of being favourites for the title and back on the up while that lot down the road rot. Oh well.

I'm not sure why people care about what other fans/press think about their own club? This pointless matter has been tried before and will no doubt be tried again after Saints own experiment. If it goes wrong so be it, if it catches on then great.

Either way the storm will blow over sooner or later.
