As a Cleveland Browns fan it pains me to say it, but the Stoolers will win by 21-9. Cant see Cardinals having any joy with the Stoolers Defence, which is quite frankly, awesome.
As an aside does anyone have an 'Approach' to watching the Superbowl? For example, my wife and I always go to bed about 6PM Superbowl Sunday, get up at 11PM and eat Chilli Tex Mex, Nacho's and a few Cans before going back to bed for 2 hours or so before getting up for work at around 6.30AM, I love The Superbowl and pity anyone who can't bring themselves to enjoy it. I can't wait!
:smt054:D
Every year I sit down to watch it with my mate, Jonny. We alternate ale and coffee and try to push through until morning. Every year he falls asleep during the halftime show and then wakes up at the end, pretending to have seen it all. This is our 'approach'. I have seen all the Superbowls since about '98 in this manner. He has seen exactly half.

steelers will have too much game for them surely? too strong in all departments...steelers by 13.....
TBF I've thought that about pretty much every team they've faced, certainly in the post-season. Yet somehow they're in the Superbowl. On that basis, too tight to call

Hurrah! Time for the biggest, best (and often most pointless!) sporting event of the year.
I see the BBC have plumped for the American commentary this year (Al Michaels and John Madden), so I may watch that rather than Sky.
Goodness knows how the Cardinals have made it to the big game. I bet against them last week, so perhaps I should have learnt my lesson, but I am going to back the Pittsburgh Steelers.
American commentary or not, it'll be aimed at people who've never watched a game before and need the basics explained after every play. I reckon I'll stick with Sky.
The result's too tight to call but I hope the Cardinals get it, just for the novelty.

Anyone else never heard of him? Come one, come all...

The music is stunning and Richard Gere isn't sh1t! That Mallick is a miracle worker.
And that's a fact. He's only made 4 films and they're all my favourite film ever.

Ladies and gentlemen, Jarwillywilly's here all week.
Is he still here?

That's very sad news. One of my favourite songwriters.
If I manage to drink half as much in my lifetime as he did in his, I'll have done very well.
R.I.P.

I've no idea who is guilty or not but frankly footballers should be a bit more careful by now.
Unfortunately each new footballer, each new person, is a new learning curve. Not many of us learn from other people's mistakes.

Mercury Rev - Chasing A Bee
I tried to make all the noises with my mouth. I think I've sprained my tongue.

Don't be silly. If I dropped £50 on the floor I'd be able to pick it up, because it would be easily worth my while. If I load my £50 note onto an aircraft, bound for somewhere in the world, and the aircraft does a very bad landing and spills its cargo, and somehow my £50 note gets into someone elses hands, are you telling me that money is sovereign to me..? Come on.. I would hope somebody would find it and put it to good use.
If you're going to test my attitude, at least use a decent scenario.
The similarity, which you're coyly trying to skirt around, is that the dropped £50 and the cargo on the beach quite obviously and provably belong to a specific other party. A £50 note fluttering in the breeze after an air crash clearly isn't the same.

The letters page on Footy365 makes excellent reading today

I sent them a similar missive last week, but I was clearly ahead of my time...

Project Grizzly
If you wanted a double bill of documentaries about strangely effeminate nut-jobs that spend their time hanging around with grizzly bears then this would set you up nicely for the much meatier and affecting Grizzly Man. Project Grizzly is the slight and silly tale of a guy building himself a bear-proof suit so he can go and wrestle with bears. He never gets to live out this dream but their are laughs to be had watching him getting repeatedly run-over, thrown off mountains and hit in the face with logs in order to test the strength of his robocop-like suit. Heart-warming, in so much as you just know if it wasn't for this crazy scheme, he would most likely be killing strangers and making a suit out of their skin.
On a similar theme, I recently saw Into The Wild. Thoroughly self-obsessed rich kid flicks two fingers at everyone who cares about him and disappears into the wilderness to 'find himself'. The scenery is beautiful, but you can't get around the fact the film is all about this one guy, who's a complete d1ck and spends far too long realising he's not the only person in the world who ever, like, felt anything maaaan. Don't watch this film.

Erm... Do you like movies about gladiators?

Do you mean Thaksin Shinawatra ??
Have you ever been in a Turkish prison?

I think he means Helen Mirren.
Queen of the South?

Dogville - Good film with surprisingly nuanced performances from actors I've never rated, Nicole Kidman and Paul Bettany. The odd look of the film (shot entirely in an open, empty studio) is weirdly affecting, particularly given the theme of secrecy. Von Trier should lighten up though, maybe do a musical... oh.

anything with "nu" in the description has to be a little bit pish.
