Not true - i've been to loads of games. Went to the home game last season against Man United & a few years back when we were in the Prem.
-
I acknowledge that the form has been better (couldnt have got any worse than the 1st 10 games) With regards the -8. You'll need to read the thread, its complicated how Norwich ended up with -8, but im confident if you read the whole thread you will agree with me. I am pleased that I discovered the -8 as its very helpful for me when arguing with happy clappers. If you can add any similar stats (dont need to be 100% accurate) please let me know.

Don't get me wrong - I will go to Wembley if we get there. Will be a good larf. Just a bit worried that we will celebrate this cup like its the world cup - any suggestion of an open top bus and I will be gone. We should see the JPT for what it is - a joke with a trip to wembley for the 2 clubs that take it most serious. Id even encourage the players to play in fancy dress.
-
Ok seems fair - Thanks Neil.
-
The JPT is a joke cup - nobody is looking forward to this. Luton (relegated from L2) are the holders - thats how serious clubs take it!
-
They want results now, not next year. If the plan was 'long term' then why spend BIG on Barnard, Lambert ect ect - they would have all been cheaper or free this summer. Why not wait. Why spend over 3 million this season if the plans is to play well next season.
-
This arguement is best left till the end of the season - yes we have under performed (in the league so far) anyone can see that. 11 wins in 27 is poor. BUT The season is not over yet - we may still make the playoffs. If we do then nice one season is a success. If we dont then we will need to know why. The -10 arguement will not wash (Leeds -15 & Norwich -8 have proved it can be done and done with spunking millions and millions)
-
+1 I would swap the JPT and FA Cup place for a better league position. Getting out of L1 has to be priority no.1
-
If we make the playoffs this season I will be delighted - this wasn't the original target (AP wanted top 2) but is a decent consolation. Anything else and season has been a disappointment (The JPT cup is no consolation to me)
-
No - why r u? Are you trying to start an AP out campain?
-
Teams that are in L1 and spent millions are not happy with 'fine' You maybe, Saint_Clark maybe but Me, Delldays, NC, ML and AP are not.
-
Lambert was appointed manager of Norwich 3 days before his team beat Wycombe 5-2. Probably not relevant thou?
-
True - he wont count the 1st 10 games.
-
Wife I would like to ****?
-
He wont be jumping for joy with stats like 11 wins in 27
-
Who said we want AP out?
-
So we were weak and not clever - why didnt/don't we exploit other teams weaknesses? EVERY team in L1 has them.
-
So you're saying AP got to choose his players, while Lambert had to work with what he was given? Are you Paul Lambert? If not why are you kissing his ass so much?
-
Yep good point I do agree with that. We did have a few weaknesses, we would have got away with it too if it wasnt for every team in L1 being amazing. Damn the L1 teams and all there superstars.
-
11 wins in 27 - its not me saying it.
-
AP had more pre-season prep time than Lambert did @ Norwich. Loads more
-
Yes but Lambert wasnt the manager in the summer - he had no pre-season. & started -8
-
We are not doing well because we have changed so many players "time to gel bla bla bla" But now they are doing well (very well) because they changed so many players? Im confused.
-
Yep the same Norwich that were p1ss poor like us last season, were suddenly full of the winning mentality, brimming with confidence and destined for an instant return to CCC. We made the mistake of having a 5 year plan - there plan was just be good straight away.
-
I know...... amazing that I/We didnt realise this earlier. I was just about to give ap the benefit of the doubt!
