When Paul Lambert took over Norwich they had played 3 games (LLD) so had 1 point. Charlton and Leeds had 9. Lambert therefore started on -8 Norwich are now clear at the top 30 points ahead of us. Good going when you consider Lambert had a very similar handicap to AP. Leeds did make the playoffs after starting -15 you're right. Norwich were -8 when Lambert took over and they look likely to win the league. We had -10 and are.......well we just are.

The club is ambitious, I am ambitious - but every thread I got to, someone says "playoffs not realistic as we started -10" Norwich manager (Lambert) also started -8 at Norwich. They are now clear at the top 30 points ahead of us.

If Norwich can do it with -8 we can do it with -10. Got to be more ambitious guys - DON'T settle for 2nd best anymore Please

Good question - some of our fans are very plastic. Look at the crowds we get when Man united visit.

The JPT has added 6 fixtures to an already packed schedule - two of those games have gone to extra time and AP has insisted on playing a full strengh side in all games. This will take its toll on players (Lambert for one has looked tired according to some) The JPT cup is a waste of time imo - Luton are the holders, they were relegated from L2 last year. We should have used it like other clubs did - try out fringe players, perhaps try a new formation? We have let in loads of late goals (Brentford and Millwall recently) perhaps with fresh legs we would have won them games?

The JPT has been a distraction imo.

- A number of players that have represented there country - 6 players that have played in the top flight in England - A player that has played top flight in Italy - A Player that has played top flight in Portugal - 24 players in the squad that have played at a higher level than L1 Yes stupid to suggest..............

Didnt we finish level with Norwich last season? Yet this season they are twice as good as us!? We had problems, they had problems - we are the only ones obsessed with them.

Just dont like the excuses used to justify a poor season so far. We started -10 so what! Norwich started -8 (under Lambert) and they are now top. We wouldnt even be in the playoffs if someone gave us the -10 back. We have also spent millions while Norwich have spent little. Its a fair comparison and for me shows how disapointing our season has been so far. 11 wins in 27 means we will not get to the PO this season.

I'd swap there league positions for our JPT and FA Cup spots - wouldnt you? I remember when Lambert took over Norwich - they had lost 2 and drawn 1 and he said that he was effectively taking a side with a -8 handicap. Tale of two managers. They have exactly double our points

Under the same rules, Norwich and Colchester didnt have 'real' pre-seasons either but look at them. They havent spent millions either.

People are differnt - some like yourself will be "pleased to have a club" and pleased that things arent quite as bad as they used to be. While others will see us in L1, see us spending millions, look at the squad and think "we can do this". Its this camp that will get frustrated 1st. There will be a bigger majority in the middle, that will say. Right, things havent been great - pleased things are better. Yes we have spent millions and yes we should be doing better, but I can live with it for 'now' This camp will join the middle camp next season if things dont go to plan. Watch this space.

- Millions spent - Top player signed - 16 signings since the summer - Big crowds home/away - Playing sides that cost under 100k (11 + subs) all looks good, then.............. 11 wins (some very unconvincing) in 27 games. People will start to get frustrated. Imagine the expectation next season - no more excuses = Huge pressure.

Poor performance, but won the game. I will take that. NEXT!

He has to start - gives the team energy. Until he came on today we were very very poor.
