News from Liverpool is that Saints have turned down Everton's £27m initial offer but there is indication that the club remain interested and are considering a higher offer.
I had a good source tell me that TD had bought a house to the west of Southampton but I guess that doesnt mean too much as this be used by his family or rented out as he is likely to earn more than enough at Everton to cover the cost of purchase. He did. He lives on the Waterside not far from Staplewood.

Think the club will see a fair bit of that this season, once again it's a balls up due to moving the away fans. If they'd been in the old spot the two bits to the side of them would've been the first to sell out.
But by moving the away fans and then having one of the more expensive parts one side and the family stand the other people are obviously going to be nervous about buying there for games that could be a bit more lively.
I imagine for teams like millwall it'll be the same because the home fans who'd naturally sit there won't want to.
Unfortunately, from the clubs perspective that’s exactly what they want. They don’t want the agro that Block 42/Block 1 use to cause.
In hindsight, moving the away fans is probably the worst thing to happen at St Mary’s since it opened. Well except Will Smallbone.

So exactly as expected, we’re selling absolutely everyone with any semblance of quality. KWP, Ramsdale, Dibling and Fernandes will all be gone inside the next few weeks.
We have a tough start and those cunts coming up early in September. It’s absolutely critical we get some replacements in fast.

Yeah when I read that Wrexham article I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. £9 to send a ticket!! How do they get away with that 😂
-
It’s a shit deal. £4million, what’s the fucking point? Doesn’t generate anything to get in a decent replacement and we’ll be stuck with Bazunu playing against Pompey. It’s a nightmare scenario.

Entirely unsurprising yet utter shit.
Looks like we’ll have the entire Milton Road stand again for the away fixture which the locals are frothing about.

It’s a results business, not a fucking popularity contest.
Wish someone had have let him know this last season.

There’s no trains into Southampton Central that day anyway.

We’ll know soon enough I guess when they confirm their ticket details. 99% nailed on to be a bubble though, which will probably make Fratton one of the worst aways this season.

Major reinforcements needed based on pre season so far. Although we knew that already.

Still is so far proving to be a breath of fresh air after the vanity project of last season. The acid test is still to come of course, but it’s enjoyable to have a a normal fucking person in charge of us.

I agree the current system of allocating away tickets if fair - award those who traveled the most 1st dibs on tickets . I’d even go further and say season ticket holders with 10 away games , Members with 10 away games . Etc , that way members who goto away games would benefit too .
The only issue is those fans who selfishly buy a tickets for away games , suddenly Cant go and sell them , just to build up their credits .
The club need to put a stop to this .
There’s not really a way of stopping it though, especially if people aren’t selling them on. Except from doing pick ups for every away match which just won’t happen for logistical/cost reasons.

At just £20, I'd guess quite a few have done just that.
Having said that, Pompey away always goes lower then I expect. Quite a few of the regulars don't always fancy it (luckily). Although with the expected bubble coming back, I imagine some of the travel club will be up for it this time.

What a ridiculous situation. Just seems like a contract for the boys. Don’t get me started on this leadership nonsense either, where the fuck was he last season?

Wrexham is cat A, Stoke is cat B. It's in the file name when you save the image.
It'll be interesting to see what we're going to charge their fans because we're allowed to charge them whatever the home fans are being charged in the same stand so that should be £40 for Wrexham fans and £35 for Stoke.
It's a joke that we're seemingly going to give away fans 1,000 more tickets than they're entitled to, we better not do the same for the Skates game.
I bet we do though, which will be fucking ridiculous considering we'll get about 1800.
The only saving grace might be a reciprocal agreement demanded by the plod to limit numbers to 1800-2000 away fans for each game.

No trains to Southampton Central on Sunday 14th!!!
They’re obviously going to bubble both games unfortunately, so doesn’t really make a difference.

Finally a new ground and I’m on holiday 😂

I’m missing the first two games so hoping for a dull home game to start off, such as Watford, Preston etc. Then a far flung away I’ve been to countless times before 🤞
-
So fixture day tomorrow. It will be nice not to look at them and wonder where our first point might come from. Two will obviously be the stand out games.
I’m going for Birmingham away first game. Pompey in October/November and March/April.

I shared a ring ride on a flume with David Nugent at the Atlantis water park in Dubai. Called him a skate as we left and he saw the funny side.

I’m fairly confident of top 6. We could easily be competing for automatics again if we get the recruitment right, because the quality of this league is pretty shit.
Just beating those cunts twice goes without saying too.

Hopefully this spells the end for the worst era in Football history. Tippy tappy possession bollocks can get in the bin.

You know for someone who is a bang average champ manager to have had a crack at Saints and now Leicester makes him a lucky son of a female dog.
You can expect fitness levels to drop, lots and lots of meaningless passing, favouritism, stubborn adherence to one dimensional tactics, scar tissue, brave performances and lots of word salad post match.
And don’t forget blaming the fans when the inevitable shit hits the fan.

He’s a lower Championship standard midfielder. It’s an absolute disgrace that he is anywhere near a PL squad, which sort of sums up perfectly the pathetic season we’ve had.
