Villa had the worst set of songs ever sung at football, copying their songs is a burn at the stake offence!
Nearly as annoying as other teams trying to do oh when the saints go marching in and not being the saints... (this is why St Albans can get away with it but not Spurs)
Oh and hopefully somewhere there is a picture of Clyne jumping the barrier to celebrate with the rest of us in block 3. That was an amazing moment! (wish players came to our good side more often)

I also do not see a space for both ramirez AND lallana....
The link up play between Lambert, Lallana and Ramirez against Villa was sublime at times. They are our best players and need to start. Puncheon should give way, not Lallana
-
Drop Lallana?
Mental

thats a very good side. TBF
Only because the defence is completely left out ; )

Jay Rods half volley which went wide against Spurs was class

What would you like me to talk about Mr Horton?

So now its a FACT we had huge amounts of money set aside for a CB, based on a mongboard post and we are taking everything Nixon says as gospel, i guess we must also take it as gospel that he said we didnt know which centre back we wanted, something he said a week before the window shuts and 6 weeks after Adkins said we were looking to bring in one or two centre backs as a priority. This does really suggest to me that we were "going big time for a CB" or we had the same priorities as the manager. More that it was a bit of shambles. Does it to you?
Nixon actually did mention a very ambitious CB target leading up to the transfer window closing. I believe he said something along the lines of it being almost as big as the Gaston deal.
In addition you yourself say we were after Phillips which would have set us back about 6M anyway so it seems more money was there. It makes sense for us to have tried to pull a big coup at CB only to pull it off and leave us short defensively.

His red blood cell count is 120:75 L/G so I think he will make the bench.

Hi all
I know that Adkins is now really rubbish and that Cortese and Reed keep sticking their nose where it isn't wanted but what is everyones favourite Hammond and Waigo moment?
I loved Deano's goal against Peterborough in that entertaining 4-4 draw and Waigos celebrations after his JPT final is my best memory of him.
COYS!!!!

not using them as an example of how it is done..just saying how supposedly shyte managers with shyte teams with no where near the money spent have survived....yet we are on course to go down with record goals against by getting well beaten alot
My point is that things change dramatically in football within a very short space of time. Utd have conceded 8 goals in two games and more at home than they did during the whole of last season. Does that mean that they definitely won't get their act together and win the league? In fact, defending seems to be a challange for a lot of clubs at the moment.

tell you what...I would be delighted to stay up on the last day...at this rate, we will be down before easter
I would be pleased with that too but using Hull as an example of how it's done is a bit bizarre. They essentially just did the opposite to us so far...started brilliantly and then completely lost the plot. Shows that nothing is gaurenteed based on a good or bad start.

I listened to the Radio commentary from Leeds.which was a bit of a downer as they kept on about beating a Prme.side ......when we'd only put out our reserve side and several Academy lads on the bench !
....there wasn't much good to say ....except that the Leeds guy said he thought that Chaplow was our best player on the night......the rest weren't worth a comment.
A starter for WBA in your view then David?

fuking hell...so now, everyone at the club is out of their depth...the players, the manager, the back room staff, the coaches, the executives, the chairman...how on earth did we ever stay in the top 2 all last season....finish above some very good teams
Truth of the matter...we play far too open and allow teams to attack us and we dont defend as a unit...constantly ploughing players forward will leave a relatively weak defence exposed.....WGS got it right with players like Telfer and paul williams..Phil brown got it right in his first season in the prem..as did paul jewell
but no...at saints..EVERYONE is out of their depth...we dont mess around as fans do we...striaight to the top we go
Phil Browns Hull side caught a few by surprise early on in the season. They then went on an abosolutely attrocious run of losing which saw them just stay up on the last day after seemingly getting themselves into a fairly comfortable position at one stage. If Adkins went on a run like that with saints, people would go ****ing mental so I wouldn't use him as a benchmark.

Has Miltonroader started hacking into other people's accounts?
I feer harry will be in charge for saturday but maybe with some money in january we will be ok?
-
No
Chaplow's running is just headless chicken running. There is no point having him in there despite the purple patch he had for us this time last year. We need to be able to retain posession in this league, and Chaplow just wouldn't do that.
Don't need to retain posession. We just need to get in teams faces, leave a foot in and hit the channels.
This was my Sunday league teams tatics and we won loads of games. Atkins shouldn't need a psychology degree to know that.
-
I was taking the mick with my Ramirez or Chaplow comment. I had no idea any would seriously think it was even a realistic choice. Ramirez is light years ahead
We are far too open and Atkins needs to play a flat 5 in midfield and focus on clearing the lines and hitting the channels. Passing should only be done in and around the oppositions box not in the centre circle.
-
Chaplow all day long. We should bring back Hammond as well. Enough of all this nandy pandy powder puff stuff which you get with Ramirez and Lallana. It's about results not pass complete percentages FFS.
-
No we weren't. He is right. Lambert had barely touched the ball for 10 minutes and we had just had a lucky escape with a United penalty. Or do you not remember the pen?
Or the save Davis had to make from RVP just after the pen.... Utd could have scored 2 in 5 mins before any subs were made. They were all over us.

Right, that's is. I've had enough of your posts on here, Diggers. I hope someone outs you so that I can meet you in the real world. You pee-rick.
I've just search facebook for The Kraken. Nothing came up. I won't give up and I will find you, you deeee-ick

Although you are totally mad if you think that an internet forum/e-mail list can keep a persons signature (or name) out of the domain once something of a sensitive nature is revealed, the way that Andy Beal abused the original request makes him/her the biggest cooont in the world. I hope he gets outed and I get a chance to meet the pee-rick.
So someone posts a rumour on a forum from another forum and it makes them the biggest **** in the world? Some people need to get a bit of perspective.
If someone posts something on the internet, don't be surprised to see it passed on. This isn't the ****ing illuminati.

I like FF's 50% threshold of reliability before spreading rumours. The guy really is just an old fish wife

Cobblers. You are re-imagining this to suit your view.
We were causing United problems.
Ask yourself this question:
United are 2-1 at the Etihad with 10 minutes to go. Would Alex Ferguson bring off his front three?
No.
The view that we were all over Utd and cruising through the game until Adkins changed it is cobblers which you reinvented to suit your view.
If Ferguson had done the same and lost would you say he should lose his job over it?

don't think you'll have much luck getting Miltons attention on this part of the forum. His minder doesn't let him go anywhere but the main board.

I'm on the list
I don't think I'll ever make it. He's too intimidated by my posts
