  1. OK so everyone commenting on here put yourself in his position. You are a lifelong Saints fan, but you are playing pro football for another club. Hey, beggars can't be choosers and anyone who gets offered a pro contract anywhere is daft for not taking it up. As it is your team are virtually guaranteed promotion.

So you are playing against your boy/girlhood team who are at risk of not even existing in the very near future, and a cross comes in that you can get your head on,

    Do you,

A, say f uck it, you are paid to score goals and ****** to everyone else

    or

B, in the melee of the box duck out of the header and save 'your club' from certain relegation for another week, for the sake of a small wage bonus.

Sorry Sam, but you are a ****!

    Don't talk ****e.

How would you feel as a fan if one of ours did that? Maybe you should discuss it with sam's dad ...

  2. What annoyed me was when asked about the 10 mangers in 8 years or whatever it is he seemed to conviniently forget to mention gray, sturrock , jan, bollock chops and wigley, only mentioning strachan hoddle and dave jones , who he said 'left'.. made to leave actually, lowe started all this mess years ago with his meddling and ****e appointments causing instabilty. lowe's ego has been our biggest downfall, cant believe he's been given such an easy ride in these interviews, but lets forget all his **** ups, he's a toff thats why we really don't like him

  3. It's just cut off 30 seconds into the match, i cant usually listen to radiohants via their website being abroad so listen to it through saintstv.

Something smells fishy, and i'm not talking about the contents of baldricks apple crumble.

  4. This is from mick's website, terry paine's view too plus a little story about a horse called archers road

ARCHERS ROAD GIVES THE EX-SAINTS SOMETHING TO CHEERIt was ironic that on a dark day for Mick and so many of his former Southampton team mates that they should be taken on a trip down memory lane by a horse who carried the hopes of many a Sotonians in the opener at Leicester this afternoon.

In his red and white silks, Archers Road took the opener at Leicester to lose his maiden tag after finishing second in the Brocklesby on Saturday. This all happened on the very day that Southampton Football Club's parent company entered into administration.

Owned by John Webster, the President of the Ex-Saints Association, Archers Road is named after one of the famous ends of The Dell. The Titus Livius colt was given a hands and heels ride by Sam Hitchcott and prompted an immediate phone call to Hodcott House from South Africa.

Terry Paine, Southampton's appearance record holder and Mick's boyhood hero picked out the colt with John and was on to offer his congratulations and commiserations in equal measure. "Terry just phoned to express his delight and dismay!" said Mick. "He lives in Johannesburg now, but we are in regular contact over the phone and like me he's disgusted that Saints are in such a state. How has it got so bad? As Painey said, what were the efforts of all the Ex-Saints over the last 40 years for?

"A few egotistical men in suits have dismantled what Ted Bates and all of us who followed him acheived over three generations. It beggars belief that it's happened to the such a great club and certain people should hang their heads in shame."

  5. whats the best way to stop the neighbours cat from sh!ting on my grass?

Move into a flat or shoot the cat.

What's the best way to get rid of moles? seriously, iv'e tried a trap but there's too many of them, need a faster solution.

  6. Be nice if some ex players arranged fund raising events such as golf tournaments .

I will be pretty ****ed off if the current players don't help out , surely they could all donate 1 or 2 weeks wages? i'm sure they will survive, how much does euell earn? 10k a week? don't know how they can sleep at night if they don't do something.

Intresting to see mick channon's and terry paines views on our ex board in an article from mickchannon.com

  7. Our kids have things in common baj, my lad has also just turned 4 and speaks two languages, swedish and english.

I don't think it's a big deal your lad shows no intrest in arty stuff, if he's anything like my lad he will be put off it even more if pushed, agree with the comment about encouraging him though, if he's still not intrested then it's not to be!
