  1. Who gives a sh!t about a payment plan, haven't any of you losers heard of a credit card?

Some of us pensioners and others on fixed income can't get one because banks are now stricter than before, tight as fishes a**eholes.

  2. I think the membership info in July will have somethings as additional benefits for members, match commentary is all I use at the moment so there better be. Maybe membership for £120 and no additional charges for online booking. I jest!

I don't use online for home games because I have little choice about my seat position, I can't even nominate a particular seat to see if it's available.

  3. Personally i couldn't give a toss if the PA system isn't of O2 arena standards and it certainly doesn't "ruin the day". I dont care if its take me 5 minutes or 10 to queue for a pint or that the burgers aren't hand made by a michelen cheif. All i am interested in and care about is that primarliy saints win, secondly its a good, entertaining game with hopefully plenty of goals and a decent atmosphere. Am i alone in this or do other people go to football for other things than what happens on the pitch?

My sentiments to a T, since 1962-63 when I started to watch Saints, and always will be.

  4. As title really, maybe ML might like to show us off to a few of his mates? Could be a friendly in Basel, Zurich perhaps? Or the usual scandinavian tour of some random high school teams?

Yes please, BASEL, I'll be there for the next three months till the start of the new season. Yum yum yum and plenty of Unser Bier (I have shares) to add to my pleasure.

  5. I noticed at the end of the game, during the lap of honour, when there was two decent verses of OWTSGMI, there were still people trying to clap along to speed it up. They need to learn to sit on their hands or put them in their pockets.

I have no problem with clapping appropriately. The normal speed OWTS (at the Dell) used to be accompanied by stamping on the upper west/east stand wooden floor boards. People need to remember it is a MARCH, the clue is in the title! Try marching to the 1000 RPM version sung now, It would be more like a Benny Hill sequence.

I absolutely love the slow version, actually makes my voice go crokey when I try to join in as well as bringing a tear to my eyes. I am a natural sad old git.

Away games are usually better for the slow version.

  6. I have loved this season more than any I can remember' date=' and although I'm obviously disappointed that we didn't make the play-offs, I'm sort of pleased we're going to be here next season too.[/quote']

My sentiments exactly. Couldn't have put it better. Plus I'd like to add - SOD THE EPL & can't wait for the off season goings on.

  7. The thing is do we really want to be in the PL in its current guise? What is the point of being in a league when you cannot win it or have no real hope of getting into Europe via league position? The only thing the majority of teams in the PL are fighting for is survival.

IF we get there it will seriously test Mr Liebherr's bank account, does he have the necessary funds to a) get us there and b) keep us there?

ML has the funds, it's just a matter of IF he wants to spend the £60m+ every 2 or 3 years that would be necessary to get more than half way up the EPL and stay there. Taking into account the inflation of players wages AND transfer fees demanded by clubs.

There are a very limited number of really good, high ability players to go around, or be available to buy, the rest are journeymen or bog standard.

To be honest I really can't be bothered with the prima donnas in the EPL.

The Liverpool fans today think their club has sunk without trace by not qualifying for the CL and expect the new buyer to pour loads of dosh to feed their need for big success, the Championship is all I really want for the future, nothing more.

What has happened to Blackburn since their benefactor Jack Walker is not around. The same would happen if, God forbid, something should happen to ML.

    Fireproof gear on.

  8. We have played 28 home games, league and cups, with a total attendance of 579,263 giving an average of 20,688 per game - not bad in my opinion.

  9. Banging the back boards is good. It definitely gets the songs going and adds a bit of atmosphere. However, DON'T RUIN THE SLOW VERSION OF OWTSGMI. That is all, thanks.

Totally agree, we managed to get into the slow version for a second verse before the hand claps stop that, so disappointing, The slow version is mind blowing when aloud to rule. Sends tingles down my spine.

  10. Planning for UEFA.

Markus not getting interest no lending agreement. But he didn't answer the actual question re converting to equity or if he simply is a guarantor. Hmm

The whole interview was on BBC solent's website before the game with ime (just) to listen to it all.

There are no debts or loans relating to ML as far as I can see, all are gifts as such with no liability to SFC. ML will "get it back" when club ever sold, as he is the sole owner of SFC.

You cannot owe money to yourself.

  11. Let's wait till 2pm tomorrow to find out exactly what question NC is responding to. Could we EVER move from SMS? If somebody offered £50m for SMS would we sell?

It's a bit like Mock the Week, here is the answer, what was the question?

  12. It is normal for the administrator to negotiate with creditors for them to accept so many pence in the pound to clear debts. Aviva, the mortgage holder, might have accepted 30p in the pound in full satisfaction knowing what their reputation would have been had they pulled SMS down to built flats. Not saying that was the reason just a possible reason, could have been anything. With the story about a relative receiving a cheque for £400 to clear a club debt it might be that ML decided to clear in full all minor debts as they would relate to local businesses in the main. He is a religious man so within the bounds of possibity.

  13. "I hope NC sticks with pards as I DO think he is a good manager.."

So why the hell are you raising the question?

It's all pie in the sky and pointless.

We have been one of the biggest spenders recently, it takes a while to gel and this is a consolidation season, for God's sake, for the moment, accept we have a club to support.

Will people stop finding negative things to say.
