I got a 70:30 split in Royal Holloway.
Sounds painful, but I guess those Uni days ae all about experimenting with the sexuality.
I am planning on going to University to study Philiosophy and Maths. I wanted to get to Cambridge and got an interview, but no offer. No to worry, I have offers from Bristol and Warwick. Not bothered about anywhere else (although offers from Southampton and Nottingham). Still deciding between the two, but Bristol seems more likely. Just got to pass my A2's now!!

I am 54 years old and I have never even said the word Portsmouth out loud. My mum once came back from a shopping trip with a bag from a shop in Portsmouth. I couldn't help it, I just hit her. Not too hard, but enough for it to be felt. Then she told me that someone gave her the bag and I felt terrible. I found out which friend of hers gave her the bag and ended up ringing them in the early hours of morning, ****ed and calling them c*nts.
You are one sick man and I feel sorry for you. A lot of people dislike Portsmouth, some even hate them, but to start beating your own mum up is the work of a deranged lunatic. You really do need some serious help and I would urge you to seek it as soon as you can. I don't think your issues are about Portsmouth or football or anything other than mental health issues. You have disgusted me and I am happy to admit a tear is trickling down my cheek as I type this.

Wilt...you're a stalker end FACT!! You only have three posts because you're too tight to join, so you multi-load and then still use every post obsessing over me...rant about me my friend, go ahead, but there is not one other poster on here that values a single thing you say....now wait until tomorrow - search the site with a fine tooth comb and then spew venom against anything I post again...you must be proud!!
I have 3 posts because I refuse to pay £5 to read the constant bullsh*t that you come up with. I have never obsessed over you and I was not ranting about you. You think I am obsesses and ranting about you because you have an over inflated sense of your own importance.
I am wasting one of my three posts (because I am too tight!!! LOLZ!) to stick up for Wiltshire. I value the things he says, he is funny. On this occasion he is spot on, you're way wide of the mark.
You're one of my favourites Ash, I want that on record.
And guess what my friend...all his responses will be spent on stalking me again tomorrow. I am not suggesting he is envious of me, or jealous of my lifestyle as some have said...I repeat I am absolutely NOT suggesting that, however, he does have a slightly more than unhealthy fascination with me...could treat it as flattering, but quite honestly it is a shade creepy tbf. What are you wearing?

Reeeeeeeally, have we conceded goals in the 67, 50, 68, 82, 83, 77, 80, 90, 69, 65, 90, 65, 56, 73, 90, 66, 55, 77, 90, 90, 83, 50, 66, 75, 82 and 85 minutes just to name the odd 26 times so far this season, going back to the very first game...oh and by the way the majority of the very few 1st half goals we have let in have not cost us points...
So what's the answer?
Yes, conceding goals in the 50th minute can be classified as conceding a late goal can't it? The whole point you are making is insane. It makes no sense.
Thank you, well, firstly I ain't on the coaching staff, so don't know the players on a daily basis.Really? You surprise me. Maybe AP will give you a call after reading some of your suggestions?
What we have is a major problem conceding goals from about 65 minutes onwards...so you talk about on the training ground and in the player 'debriefing' (I assume AP debriefs the team). After 40 games you should be discovering why it happens...stamina, lack of confidence, over-zealous attacking, lack of awareness. If the players are not fit enough you do a WGS. If they are not confident enough then youpositively reinforce them and if they are not aware then damn well make them aware...I think thw problem is probably and quite unbelievably AP is not aware!!
This is revolutionary! I can see now why you were the coach of a Hants Div 1 team at such an early age. I take it you eradicated the late goal (50 mins onwards) at your club?
Do we have a problem conceding goals through the first hour of games, simple question?Do we have a problem conceding goals after the first hour?
Is conceding goals at any time not a problem? Your question is not a simple one, it's a stupid one.
There is very little on this board that people agree on, but your idiotic post seems to have unified the majority of the membership. Maybe you should have a think about why that's the case - have a "debrief" with yourself to make yourself more aware.

I was out with Mrs Wiltshire Saint and in the restaurant there was a couple who were clearly young and in love. A woman was going round selling roses, like they do on the continent and when she got to the couple the woman said "no" and the bloke was all "Oh come on, you should have flowers!". She said that she was allergic to them, but the flower seller had seen a weakness in the shape of the man and pressed a bunch of flowers against the woman and gestured to the man for some cash. It turns out the young lady was allergic to flowers and she died, right there in the restaurant. It ruined the night for everyone because the man was crying and the ambulance came and we left before even discussing a dessert.

My brother is coming over from America to watch the game. He got his ticket last week. Not sure total miles, but it is an effort and a half. Luckily he got some cheap flights so the whole thing is a bit of a bargain. Not bad going for someone who hasn't been to a game this season!

I agree. The rest of this place contains some of the most important empty-box-filling solipsism on the entire internet.
In your opinion. I don't agree and I shall explain why on my blog.

NC - Oi! Storrie! You're a c*nt!
PS - F*ck off Nicola, you f*cking f*ggot.
NC - Why what you going to do about it?
PS - I don't need to do anything. You're a f*cking c*nt and you got a girls name.
NC - I'm going to smash your stupid f*cking face in, you piece of sh*t
PS - P*ss off Nicola, you're a f*cking gaylord.
NC - I might be a gaylord, but I'll still batter you senseless, you prize c*ck.
PS - Come on then. Let's see what you got
NC - Dirty motherf*cker
PS - W*nker
NC - Suck my c*ck you tw*t
PS - You'd like that wouldn't you. F*cking bender
NC - Oh, f*ck off.
-
NC is stood facing a member of the Saints backroom staff. PS enters the room, looks about keenly and spots NC. He heads straight over to him.
PS - Nicola! Hello again!
NC - Hello!
PS - How are you today?
NC - I'm good thanks. And how are you?
PS - Not too bad given the circumstances
NC - That's good to hear. I know how much pain can be caused by financial trouble in football! We had a lot to sort out after taking over.
PS - Yes, it's pretty bad for us at the moment. Maybe I can pick your brains, see what you think about our plight?
NC - Of course, after all, we are part of the football community aren't we? When a football team dies it is sad for all of us.
PS - Indeed, it goes beyond our clubs rivalry. I'll give you a call tomorrow and arrange a meeting if that's ok?
NC - Yes, please do. Now, what about the game? Are you confident?
PS - Yes of course! (he laughs)
NC - Well my boys are already on the way to Wembley, so we have confidence and I'm sure we can win.
PS - That's true. You don't need another Wembley date, that would be selfish!
they both laugh, and sip from their drinks
NC - Well may the best team win. I shall look forward the contest, but we have a lot of work to do after this game. We are only beginning our journey.
PS - Yes, may the best team win. Hopefully that will be us, but we also have a lot of other things on our minds. How do you think the club is progressing since you took over?
NC - Good. We're really pleased. It's a shame we haven't won more of the league games, but we'l get there.
PS - So have you set a date for a premiership return?
NC - We definitely want to be back there within 5 years, but the sooner the better! Markus has spent money and he wants to see a return.
PS - I know, you've certainly invested heavily!
NC - anyway, enough talk of football, there are other things in life!
PS - Sometimes it is nice to talk about something else!

Although coated nuts weren't really about in the 1980's, as far as I am aware, I think that Nobby's nuts (sweet chilli flavour) have more than a passing resemblance to David Armstrong
-
I really hope that NC is not reading this thread. His children are ginger haired and it is this sort of prejudice that could get him to persuade ML to withdraw his support and funding. Is that what all those chanting morons want? A return to the days of being skint and rubbish?

He'll never make Open All Hours. Maybe he should aim for Citizen Smith?

...but I could swear that the legal age for buying alcohol in this 'jobsworth' nation of ours is 18?
Where do Tesco etc get off having their OWN policy on buying alcohol. I know this policy is nothing new and I know I should have remembered my driving licence, but Jesus Christ, I AM 23! I can handle the '21' policy, but 25?!?!? Is this just my local Tesco or is it now a nationwide thing?
The old cow asked me my age, I could have lied and said 26, but 'No", I thought, "I'll tell the truth"...
"You need to be 25 to buy alcohol here..." WELL **** YOU!
This ****ty ****ing country really does my head in sometimes!
Rant over.
If this is what you are like without alcohol then I dread to think what you'd be like with a drink inside you. I don't think teachers should be going out on a weeknight (especially a Monday....you've got a whole week of lessons to get through yet) and looking to get drunk. If you can't handle someone saying you shouldn't have a drink, then I would suggest you drink too much and need to seek help. I don't see that as a bad thing and nor should you. It is a sign of strength to go out and ask someone for assistance for a problem that you have identified. Good luck with your problem.

Those are the rules - did you want a list of T&C's?
Well, that's the thing. They're not the rules are they? The mod said "get 50 people to agree" and you have changed that you a 50 net people to agree. No-one said anything about takig off the people who disagreed. I commend you for your campaign, but you are reverting to your main board persona and that should be avoided at all costs.
Kadeem is a SWF treasure. SWF main board is a sadder place without him and he should be reinstated. There is no argument about that, and if there is, people should go over to the main board now and find something, anythign, that is remotely amusing (other than my posts)
-
I want him to be able to post on the 'main board'
He seems like a top bloke.
Who agrees......?
A mod (asked to remain anonymous) has agreed to reinstate his main board access if 50 people agree.
Go.......
LatestFor 5 (includes Kadeem voting for himself)
Against 2
Total 5-2 = 3
A point of interest is that the mod has agreed to reinstate of 50 people agree, but you seem to be working it out as a net figure, where more people have to agree than disagree. This is not what was agreed. It is simply stated that 50 have to agree....so basically stop counting those who don't agree.
Anyway, I am all for his return. His wisdom and insightful comments about football informed much of what I thought. Now all I have is delldays and life is considerably worse.

Nice selection of listens, Wiltshire Saint. A perfect lazy Sunday line-up.
This is the general consensus from a lot of music publications. I've not heard much Midlake but some love it but some have slated it. I might obtain it and give it a go. I am looking forward to Shearwater's new album this year. I think you may like it judging from your recent listens.
I'm listening to The Big Pink's album at the moment, getting ready to see them next weekend. Shamefully excited!
I shall look into Shearwater. Thanks for the tip. I love Midlake, but they can be a bit hit and miss. Van Occupanther is a majestic album. I love it. There acoustic versions of Roscoe and It covers the hillsides on the Oak & Julian EP which are incredibly beautiful.
This is excellent, the Wiltshire Saint. May I commend you on your fabulous taste? I am listening to The Len Price 3 on Myspace,a pastiche of a Kinksy sixties band.Thank you Depps. I'm only listening to them because you said you were listening to them the other day. You are my unofficial leader. I miss you.
Today:

Almost as interesting as the other threads on the matter. Why do you feel the need to start a new one? Is it because there are a few other people on here who have also seemingly lost the plot and are making the sort of silly statements normally reserved for you? Are you scared people won't notice your nonsense and moaning amongst all the the other nonsense and moaning?
Just a couple of points:
1. Who are these people who you claim say NC demands instant results? Are they real people or people you have made up? Or are they real people who have made it up themselves and you just believe them?
2. If you think AP is a good manager, why do you take every opportunity to moan and slag him off?
When we started the season I was very doubtful we would get into the play-offs. Then when we struggled to get points after the first handful of games I was more convinced we would be a L1 side next year. Then we went on a run and there was an outside chance we would get into the play-offs. Now that seems unlikely, so we'll have to wait till next year. I am sure next season things will be better. The players would have played together a lot longer, AP will have a clearer idea of the best team and hopefully we would have trimmed the squad as it is too big right now. Next season, if things are like they are now, then I would be concerned, but right now I am not and don't think anyone else should be.
There, I could have put that on any thread on the main board, but I'll put it on yours TDD, because you love the drama. You may, of course, now respond with "but this is message board, we are allowed to have different opinions, this place is for discussion, it's ony the internet...." and all the other stuff you normally come out with when someone dares to point out a few things. Alternatively, you could reply with "troll" or "go away Tiggs" like you also do quite often.

The following were on yesterday:
The Besnard Lakes - The Besnard Lakes are the Dark Horse.
Beach House - Teen Dream
Midlake - The courage of others. First listen. I obtained it after booking tickets to see them the week after next. I have been waiting for them to come over here and do some gigs. Nice album. Certainly not as good as Van Occupanther, with nothing that really stands out. A bit more gentle than the last one, but a good collection of folky songs.
The Pains of Being Pure at Heart - The Pains of bieng pure at heart
a variety of songs by Villagers, from his myspace site, which were pretty good. Saw him supporting Fyfe Dangerfield and thought he was good on stage.....a little odd and very intense, but good.

Well I am not moaning, bluntly 'seems', 'assumes', 'maybes' and 'I thinks' just ain't moaning, that's you guessing. The comments above were quite clearly addressed as a response to someone that had made three seperate posts on the subject and was actually initiating a response by stating he travelled 50 miles and chose not to further himself going to the US, right.
I have not been asked but inundated with requests for me to get Big Ron back here and it's a long process. For what...so that all the Smart Alecs could type 'well I've been to several games this year and he may well have played a few years ago, but screw him as I deserve to be at a game more than him'. I get it, Ron won't.
Please don't patronise Ron. We're all big fans here and I don't think people would appreciate your tone. Just because Ron is ill, doesn't mean he is incapable of understanding stuff.

That is 89 years out of the clubs 125 years WITHOUT that fan designed 1970's badge.
Time for a badge redesign Mr Cortese. Those that think the badge has historically always been part of the club need to think again.
36 years out of 125 years is not alot!
What? So how will anything ever become part of our tradition if we adopt your approach? If 36 years is not enough for a badge to become part of Southampton, then what is to stop someone saying in 2020, "We've only had this badge for 10 years - that is nothing! Let's have a new one!". And then in 2025 some other muppet will want a new badge and then in 2026 some other knobhead will want another new one, because, thanks to you, nothing is sacred and nothing matters. Can you explain why it is time for a change? What is your reasoning?
-
Oh and by the way I travel more supporting Saints and doing stuff for Southampton FC in one year than you do in twenty and that, my friend, is a hard FACT. I went to Southend away with H1N1 this year and by the time I went to the away game at Oldham it was developing into double pneumonia. As soon as I got back I bought a car, drove 15 hours non-stop and delivered it to the recently widowed Ron Davies and then promptly collapsed with exhaustion....read the post and you'll see that I was clearly not blaming Saints - whining or calling it unfair, just saying that I was "disappointed". So please use a little more thought before getting in your pulpit next time.
It does seem that you are moaning a little in your original post. And with the above quote, it seems that you are trying to imply that because you travel further to the odd game than others and because you went to a game ill and because you got double pneumonia (not even single pneumonia) and then did a big drive and then helped Ron that you deserve a ticket. Well, I'm not sure about that, you might be right or you might me wrong, but to try and claim you're not whinging is untrue. You're saying "look at all that I have done and I can't get a ticket". That is moaning.
Anyway, good luck with getting a ticket.

Are you his spokesperson? Did he tell you to post this? Are these his own words or have you paraphrased/made stuff up? If you are an official source of TT information, is it ok for me to stalk you and generally act in an obesessive manner? Can I hold you?
