The comment was in answer to the question who? if Lambert unfit. If Saganowski unfit (current knee ligament injury) bring back McLaggon or try Trotman or Paterson with Waigo and Antonio/Lallana. There is no easy answer, I think Waigo would do a job and do it well if they could get him to play five yards deeper.
Ah yeah sorry, I confused myself a bit there (it happens easily).

Waigo up front with Connolly and Antonio wide right, Lallana wide left. The pace and movement with Connolly's clever runs would cause any side problems.
I agree with that, but then we wouldn't have Lambert's hold up play and physical presence. And that's also if Connolly keeps fit. He's not fit at the moment, and so what would we do without both Lambert and Connolly?
Waigo up front on his own? Bring back Paterson? Unfortunately I cannot see either of these potential solutions working.

Haha what a bunch of computer nerds you all are....Alpine is a c|_|nt of the highest order, and I tell him so.
Tough sh1t if ya don't like it. I'm not here to be liked, I have real friends unlike certain people on here....

Not sure, just saw it on the BBC a while back.

Can somebody please type the exact quote, as I'd like to add it to my list of 'favourite quotes' on facebook (all of which are about P*rtsmouth). Thanks in advance.
Others include:
Boris Johnson on Portsmouth "Here we are, in one of the most depressed towns in Southern England, a place that is arguably too full of drugs, obesity, underachievement and Labour MPs."
"The necessity of living in the midst of the diabolical citizens of Portsmouth," wrote General James Wolfe in 1758, "is a real and unavoidable calamity. It is a doubt to me if there is such another collection of demons upon the whole earth."
Sol Campbell - "And as for the trip to Morecambe, the facilities at Morecambe, they weren't actually that bad. I've seen worse... Remember, I used to be at Portsmouth - have you seen Fratton Park? Have you been to the training ground?"

without a doubt the linesman gets it right more than wrong but they also have bad days and make some awful mistakes.
Northampton away. Terrible.

It's only been six years since I was twelve. I don't know.

You should be included in the poll
I doubt there would then be a need for rigging.

After another woeful display of laziness and shooting incompetence amounting to grand larceny, I am convinced that Lambert is a waste of space even 'though somehow he manages to get his name on the score-sheet every week. He just isn't good enough for our team now. He was supposedly worth £1m, I'll bet Bristol Rovers have been laughing with their bank manager ever since.
What a load of ********. Just out of interest, do you go to every game? Have you made that judgement over the season, or based it on one match? If it wasn't for Lambert's goals and assists, hold up play and presence we would still be mooching around 24th spot. Who do you suggest we play instead of him if he isn't good enough? Maybe you should go and watch Arsenal, they seem to be scoring a lot of goals.

End of April I'm afraid
That's aaaaaaaaages away :\

This looks amazing and can't wait til it comes out. Have they named a date yet? Heard it would be some when between November this year and April next year... Looking forward to this more than I was looking forward to GTA4.

Any negative posts on the forum regarding the team should be directed here.

Gratz to pardew the players and of course our new owner. For me that marks the end of the last effects from the lowe feck up that was last season. Onwards and upwards coyrs!

Just got back. We thrashed them 1-0. Should have been 3-0 at least. We didn't finish as clinically as usual - to put it mildly. I think Bart only had one save to make all night.
Papa was awesome apart from the ridiculous number of offisides (maybe as many as 8?). Given his pace it's maddening - he doesn't need to push that far up.
We were better when we switched to 4-4-2 after about 30 minutes. I prefer Papa as a centre forward than a winger.
As otehrs have said, Schniederlin was utterly amazing. A flawless display - and could develop into our "quarter back".
Hammond was a bit poor. Lambert was clearly knackered for the last ten minutes.
Antonio is as mad as a goose on stilts, but terrifies the opposition.
Jaidi was a brick wall and Perry's positioning and timing was top notch.
Overall, am pretty pleased.
Spot on IMO

When we get players who think 2 seconds + quicker than some of the current squad, I think you will be astonished at what Papa will be achieving because he will have team mates providing him with the fast service he craves.
oH yeah, I do rate Waigo still. His pace and vision are good, but his first touch and decision making are still lacking a bit in my opinion. I do reckon he is a good player though, played well tonight, despite getting given all those offisides.
-
"He's always offside, he's alwayyss offsiiiddeee, Papa Waigo, he's always offside"
and
"Stay onside, stay onside, stay onside"
Waigo showed signs of class tonight, but just needs to stay onside!! As Bailey said, you have to take the rough with the smooth with him, I agree with that. He has good points and his bad points.

Got work at 5. Imagine spending 5 hours in a Tesco. It's no fun.

Great, this means I can drink a lot and not worry about the next day, which is the case with Saturday games as I have work 7am Sunday morning. Result.

I haven`t seen this. Is it a Television X version of the David Dickinson one??
No, it was the Red Hot TV version, but it still had Dickinson in it...
FWIW I just watched Diagnosis Murder (the clean version). I love day time TV...

The squad AP took over was top 6 easy peasy.
Dont want to hear another word on it - closed.
Our squad against Millwall, first game of the season:
Davis, Murty, Thomas, Perry, Harding, James, Wotton, Schneiderlin, Lallana, Paterson, Saganowski.
Compared to our squad against Hartlepool, our most recent league game:
Davis, Murty, Jaidi, Trotman, Harding, James, Hammond, Schneiderlin, Lallana, Lambert, Connolly.
Now, I'm sitting on the fence in this debate, but I believe our squad now is a lot better and stronger than it was at the start of the season, with additions such as Lambert, Hammond, Jaidi, Connolly, etc. If you genuinely believe our squad at the start of the season is top six material, then that surely points to the idea that our squad now should gain automatic promotion.
I know that's unlikely because of our minus 10, and I believe that next season we will definitely be serious contenders for the title. I guess the point I'm making, although I have digressed, is that our squad now is a lot better than the squad we had at the start of the season, so should we be able to get an automatic spot this season?
