Guly is beginning to find his feet, will be interested to see if the rumours are true we've bought, not just loaned him. Also keen to see what those at the game feel about Lamberts performance, is getting back to form? lets hope so. Also hope we can keep the run going next week at Huddesfield, will be a good test for the team & of our aspirations.

I think thats true to say but we definately had another goal or two in us. Barnard missed an easy header shot but not surprised as his head won't be with it.

Chaplow also missed a sitter but I think he couldn't quite believe the opportunity he was given (he wont get one of them again!) and being new he ended up fluffing it

Bloody brilliant game. Love it love it love it. Missed a couple if sitters towards the end but I don't care

Can't believe the grief being given to the OP about this. He merely brought this up as an observation of his interview techniques.

Fwiw I absolutely agree, I feel bored listening to his interviews because he says the same things over and over and uses lots of cliches. I noticed this before he became manager abd knew it would only be a matter of time before someone else mentions it.

I don't think because some of us find it a tad annoying means were not behind him or don't like the guy. I think he is going to be great for saints.

I just put him in an embarrassing dad/teacher category when it comes to interviews.... At least he has stopped speaking about himself in third person though!!! ;-)

Let me know if you can actually hear them, the game does blend them VERY subtly into the crowd noise - not sure how long the clips play for either, it might fade some out, would annoy me on the slow OWTSGMI, but at least it's realistic.

Have you not tried them with crowd volume turned up then? Do you think they are loud enough? Surely if you adjust the commentary (which infuriates me anyway) and the general SFX it should be ok right?

You can also run the clips through software to increase the volume too...

Its easy to make a judgement once all the claret is spilt not events leading up to it. Im not doubting your lads friends on events as no doubt they were having a good time and consuming copious amounts of alcohol or were they on the kaliber.

 

many moons ago I got arrested by the police following an attack . A polie car was patrolling where I was walking when I was subject to a mugging. Being 20 years younger than the attacker . it was me that was intially arrested and told I would face a charge of ABH , then GBH then drunk and disorderly. I spent several hours in a police cell before I was asked for my version of events.

Now this all happened at about 6pm on a saturday. near the houses of Parliment. I might have only been 19 at the time but I have a right to defend myself. I had not been drinking either . In the end the police realised that the other person concerned had a history of violent attacks and was wanted by them for a serious assault else where. The police gave me an apology but I have never trusted them since and I was right to defend myself. It was worrying at the time as the police assumption was that it must have been a 19 year old attacking a 45 year old not vice versa

 

So like the police in my incident . its important to establish exactly what went on before passing judgement. All to often the alleged victim can turn out to be perpertrator. I wasnt at the white house and cannot comment Barnard is innocent until proven guilty un less there are bent cops about

Use one of the "Cheer" ones for your "Goal" playlist if you don't want crappy music instead - Pt 2 is 4 seconds and the Goal Cheer one 14...

 

I also use "We love Southampton" for a win and "Southampton til I die" when we lose, but you can barely hear them so music might be better for those particular playlists.

 

And take the two "cheer" files out of the main "chants" playlist when you create it, unless of course you want a random in-match roar.

 

The Saints are Coming by U2/Green Day which I happened to have on my PC doesn't appear to have been uploaded (because I didn't have to convert it from w4a). You can get that from anywhere though, or Sandstorm by Darude, if you want to go retro Prem relegation season... etc.

Talking of the bus, Just seen on the OS that the park and ride scheme wont be running on saturday for away fans. Deliberate attempt to rake in money by suggesting/making them park in the stadium car park, which just happens to be chargeable now?!?!? Saints arent very subtle are they these days :-P

As I may have already mentioned in post #188, if I use the bulk uploader it prevents anyone from downloading the files, even for free - it just said the d/l limit was reached on the first d/l.

 

And I'm not prepared to upload 38 files manually, so that's a bit of a shame.

I've only had one freeze of the console so far, a huge improvement on FIFA10, which used to freeze my first match on Be A Pro after loading EVERY SINGLE TIME, to the extent that I used to write it off as "practice" and wait for the inevitable reload after a while.

 

Still waiting for someone to suggest a server to allow me to share these Saints audio mp3 files for free...

I was at Wembley arena the other night, if they tried an attack similar to what happened in Russia some years ago it would be carnage. 12 000 trapped in a building as hostages or worse. The armed response teams would not get there in time before real tragedy occurred.
