  1. Could easily have had a second with a great bit of close control from 6 yards but the keeper made a fortuitous block. Looks quick, skilful and confident...I really like him. Future looks bright.:)

  2. ...but I mostly use that as a "try before you buy thing".

Ha! I'm an oldie...the last time I did that was in the upstairs of a record shop at The Junction sitting on Indian scatter cushions to the smell of Jos Sticks listening to the full vynal album of "My Goals Beyond".

    Peace Man.:smug:

Now I just search YouTube for the latest video.

  3. Personally we knew what we were buying, so if he's contrite I'd much prefer to try to reintegrate him into the squad rather than take a huge loss selling/loaning him out and weakening our squad.

I think that's down to the squad itself. If reports are correct and they want him out I think there will always be a seething undercurrent if there is an attempt to rehabilitate.

  4. Do most people stream their purchases online now before buying? I don't so I'm probably liable to make a few clangers over the year but I accept that. My main source is 6 Music during the day and the weekend broadsheet reviews.

  5. Agreed. She is clearly aware of media speculation and addressed the player sales, only one reason (in my mind) why club sale was ignored

You're commenting on your agenda, (putting a negative spin on everything positive that comes out of the club) pulling apart every statement, phrase by phrase, word by word and commenting on something that's not even there. You're someone who reads a line and interprets the rest of the book.

    Totally predictable, totally boring.

  6. Well if nothing else, KL has achieved one thing: erstwhile combatants coming together as one to applaud her statement – it’s like Christmas Day 1914 in the trenches; I’m expecting a game of football to break out at any moment.

As another leading lady once said: “where there is discord let us bring harmony”. :)

On that note could I suggest we put forward a recommendation that August Bank Holiday Monday be renamed "Liebherr Day".:)

  7. I know it's halfway through January but today I've been reviewing one of my duds of 2013 which featured in some music journalists "Best of" list.

OK mine is: Ripley Pine by Lady Lamb The Beekeeper

It's a bit like Lesley Feist without the voice or the songs.

So what other well fancied runners failed to make the Canal Turn?
