  1. Time for FL to show the same balls they did last week, in blocking any bid other than the trust, and make it perfectly clear that anything but full payment to football creditors will result in loss of the golden share.

  2. And ties in with:

Our bid is 'fully funded' in as much as the key principles of how it will be financed are agreed. It is also 'ready to go' in the sense that once parties other than the PST bid fulfil certain obligations or requirements we can roll.

The key principles being using PP money that they have already agreed to pay to ex-players. The "certain obligations or requirements" being that the players give up their security.

Scumbags again trying to avoid paying what they owe. I wish nothing but pain for them.

  3. That can't be a pompey fag packet - it says 'UK Duty Paid'.

If you look carefully at the picture of the Pompey flag at Soton Central in the background you'll see the PST Chairman rummaging through a bin for fresh "stationery".

  4. It was a very quick and simple change to the "reworked" business plan.

They moved "PCC Loan" into the "Guaranteed by Parachute Payments" column, and the "Football Creditors" into the "Something Will Turn Up" column.

I found a picture showing both columns:

  5. Expecting ex-players to compromise on their compromise agreements which were made after they had already compromised their wages as agreed in their legally binding contracts. Nice.

I expect the players will be on to the PFA right now telling them to get the next PP paid directly into their accounts before the fishy ones steal even more from them.

  6. My take on it

It is in the correct court. It is the Commercial Court.

If the Administrators win then you cannot appeal just because you do not like the decision. You have to appeal on a point of law. If there are other issues they have to be in the pleadings. I have been there on both counts.

The administration is handled by the Bankruptcy and Companies Court.

  7. Let us be clear, the Football League are not stopping the Administrators selling to the new consortium. They are just saying they will not transfer to them the golden share.

Administators go to court and will say without the golden share the business cannot be sustained. If the court do not rule that the £3m offer by the trust for the ground is approved then the trust bid cannot proceed and liquidation is the only answer and that will prejudice the creditors.

Depends in the scope of the court. If they being strict and dealing ONLY with a case to ascertain a fair value of FP (and possibly giving PKF to green light to sell to the PST, safe from the threat of legal action from Portpin) then whatever the ramifications of that decision are may not be considered by the judge. He could take a look at the mess that is the PFC admin and decide he wants no part of it, he could consider it too complex and time consuming for his court to consider or given that the company is under the protection of another court, it's not for his court to impinge on that process.

  8. Has anyone from Portsea Island considered that Robinson may have been backing both horses?

Sue(?) Maskell in twitter is claiming that the Orville bid is a non-starter without the surrounding land, which Robinson reasonably close to owning, and that as Robinson is a PST partner, it'll all be OK.

What she doesn't seem to realise is that the surrounding land isn't worth much to Robinson without the hulk of rotten wood and rusting iron the rests in the middle of it.

Robinson will deal with whoever gives him the best chance to make money, pure and simple. Currently, that doesn't look much like being the PST, no matter how much cowpat they spin to gullible skate-lets.

  9. From Micah Hall:

PST bid is on the table - money in escrow. And now mr Harris wants to ram to the trust about us using that money to help fund his lease scheme - so can we use fans money to pay Chainrai an uneconomic rent so he can own the stadium and Harris can own the club? Think the word is NO.

Then you'd better start refunding those pledges...

  10. @mickwill: PST bid offers guaranteed payment to creditors, £3M to Portpin for ground, best future for PFC & the community. We're ready to go!! #Pompey.

Haven't they been "ready to go" for months now...?

And yet every time the court case is adjourned they say

The Pompey Supporters' Trust welcomes the news that the court case, scheduled for tomorrow, has been adjourned as it allows its bid to buy the club more time to be completed

even though the bid is "ready". I'm confused.

  11. The original loan was also dependant on the PL agreeing to pay PPs direct to the council to repay the loan should the PST fail to do so. That wasn't possible yet the loan still appears to be on offer, so the terms have clearly changed. I don't think the new terms have been published.

  12. Lots of questions about whether Orville's bid has any money behind it and they're missing the point - if they have money and they're serious then they'll blow the PST bid out of the water and if they don't, Chinny will still use the bid in court to ensure he sets the price he wants for Fatpipes Park. Either way, the PST are sinking fast.

  13. Plenty of direct quotes relating to Pompey from the MP's and Minister present - more importantly Pompey are progressing towards 'fan ownership' - supporters direct are promoting 'fan ownership' no spin in that.

You've misspelt liquidation, you silly skate.
