FA Carlsberg Vase Final - Saturday 10th May 3pm. Wembley Stadium Sholing FC v West Auckland COACH INFO - Coaches are available at a cost of £20 per person. Therefore for the whole package (ticket and coach place) £35 adults and £25 U16. There will be three pick ups - Sholing FC, Silverlake Arena, Portsmouth Rd (Veals as overflow), St Mary's and Fleming Park. Coaches are to depart at 10am. Please note coaches will only depart from one venue. At each departure venue there will be a special 24 page Southern Daily Echo edition to purchase. There will be a planned stop off at Fleet Services where there will be opportunity to purchase genuine Sholing FC merchandise. Amazing game at Eastbourne, 3-0 up at Half time, then the home side get two goals early in the 2nd half and its heart in your mouth time, but a late 4th sent the 100 or so travelling Sholing Fans into raptures... and then into the bar to celebrate. Game finished 2-2, so it's all to play for in the second leg next Saturday at Eastbourne. Good crowd of almost 600, considering Saints were playing, that's pretty good.

Such a shame it clashes with the Saints game, not without the want of trying by Sholing to move it, but Eastbourne wouldn't play on Sunday, because it's mothers day. They love their mums in Sussex, more than their football, strange lot (plus it suits them to have a lower home crowd of course) If you are not going to St Mary's and live local, then please pop along to the Silverlake Arena (Portsmouth Road, SO19 9PW), or spread the word. Biggest game in Sholing's short rebuilt history (formally Vosper Thornycroft FC) and what an achievement it would be to play at Wembley in the Final.

The Boatmen will play Eastbourne United over two legs in the FA Vase Semi Final. Home leg is the 29th March, sadly, that clashes with Saints playing Newcastle. There is probably little chance of Sholing being able to change the date. Away leg is the week after on the 5th April. The other Semi has West Auckland (Gateshead) V St Andrews (Leicester). Sholing are back in league action on Tuesday at home to Winchester City in a top of the table clash. Kick off 7:45pm.

Sholing won 1-0 and are now in the Semi Final, which will be played over two legs. Opponents to be drawn on Monday at 10:30. Up the Boatmen! Marching to the Arch!!

Sholing warmed up for Saturday's game by beating Horndean FC 9-0 tonight. That's 89 goals in 24 league games this season.

Sholing FC V Wisbech Town - FA Vase Quarter Final Saturday 8th March 3pm Silverlake Arena - Portsmouth Road - Southampton SO19 9PW Massive match this Saturday for the "Boatmen" as we take on Cambridgeshire team, Wisbech Town for a place in the Semi Finals of the FA Vase (the final is at Wembley). With Saints away at Palace, we hope Saints fans can pop along after that match and support us. Sholing beat Larkhall 1-0 with an extra time goal by Lee Wort !! We are now at home to Wisbech Town in the Quarter Final on Saturday 8th March 3pm.

Sholing 3-1 Hullbridge Sports. We now play Larkhall Athletic in the 5th Round. Saturday 14th Feb 3pm. Larkhall are unbeaten in their league and top their table, so matching Sholing's league performance. Should be a good game.
