  1. Last season:

P4 W1 L1 D2 and we were already out of Europe. After the next two league games:

    P6 W1 L2 D3

Use past failures to forge future success

Don't use past failures to excuse current failures

  2. I don't think you actually need to register. I registered with Inter but I think it was only for their 'Interisti' section which appears to be for those who like to be associated with Inter but doesn't actually have anything to do with tickets. If you really want to you can apply for a 'Siamo Noi' card but that is more for regular attendances. For instance, I went through a trial sequence of buying a ticket for their home game with Hapoel BS and got as far as the payment part and met no restrictions even if I put my nationality as English or Israeli. I wasn't logged in for this trial. If you buy these tickets they are emailed in pdf form. Our match is not on sale yet except in a bundle of three but that is only for their season ticket holders. We shall need to keep a regular watch on their website and grab the tickets as soon as they go on sale. In my case this will probably be either when I'm in Florida or cruising through the Panama Canal which is going to be a challenge. The alternative is to get a ticket nearer the time from one of the over 500 ticket outlets throughout Italy. There is a map at the bottom of this page: http://www.inter.it/en/biglietteria and a list here: http://www.inter.it/it/servizi_abbonamenti/punti-vendita

    From their FAQs:

"Is it necessary to have a Fan Card in order to go to the San Siro to watch Inter?

No. The card is required to buy a season ticket and, as a general rule, you must have a card if you are an Italian citizen living in the region of the opposing team. For example, Italian residents of Sardinia must have a card in order to be able to go to Inter v Cagliari, whilst residents of Piedmont must have one for Inter v Torino, residents of Campania for Inter v Napoli, residents of Emilia Romagna for Inter v Sassuolo, Inter v Parma and Inter v Cesena. The same system applies to all teams/regions. For Inter v Atalanta games, only residents of the province of Bergamo must have a card, whilst for the Inter v AC Milan derby, there are no restrictions in place."

    Thank you kind sir

  3. AR-10 before s/he was driven away by the petulant Batman (sigh)

AR-10 is a tactical rifle suggesting the poster (AR-10) has some military background or interest (Interesting Jack Schitt uses some military terms in his posts but that’s just a coincidence I’m sure)

Anyways if you’re ex military or just a fan of Call of Duty you should perhaps be able to survive an accusation of being "Les"

This thread is probably dead now anyways – Fonte has a contract and the window is closed.

Let’s move on and support our captain like he’s supported us for the last 7 years.

  4. The club have said that the Italian police have insisted on 5k only . What ever other teams got is totally irrelevant .

Thought the club might negotiate - if they have given up immediately that's disappointing

I doubt St Etienne were given 10k on day 1 but you communicate and negotiate - at least I thought we would

Plan B might be needed then - what a shame

  5. The international break might come at the right time. Gives Puel and his management team a chance to review our first 3 league games (and 6 pre season games) and I'm sure they will come to the same conclusion as the rest of us.

The break allows Puel and his team to work on a new strategy and formation and importantly allows them to watch how Man City, Man United, Everton and Chelsea have been successful thus far.

Puel is new to the premiership and he has bought with him something that worked well in France. He will learn

  6. Only 36% of those shots have been from inside the penalty area which is the lowest in the league. We're also the third highest for possession so far.

We've very good at passing it pointlessly until we get towards the box, and then we have no idea how to break them down so shoot speculatively. That's what the stats say. Boring football

Like watching England vs Iceland at the euros. What do we have in common..... The DIAMOND

  7. Don't think we will be at 70% on wages now either? With our income circa £150 million this season (excluding transfers) that would make wages £105 million or the equivalent of 30 players being on 70k a week!!

Think wages will be around £80-85m max

  8. doesnt the food sell? IE, it turns a profit of some sort. (it better do for those prices)

If it turns out that we are selling our 3-4 best players every season as the boys remaining are chomping through £10 million worth of chicken each season I'd be a bit a bit plucked off and demand that someone is roasted and fried (I mean fired)
