  1. I bet there are a few lurkers in places under Southampton

This is the one you don't want to go off:

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2195590/3-000-ton-timebomb-shipwrecked-Thames-estuary.html

    1) why does anyone believe anything written in the Daily Mail?

    2) lazy journalism - clearly this wiki page was consulted before writing

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Largest_artificial_non-nuclear_explosions

(See Fall of Antwerp, it's virtually word for word)

Typical scaremongering piece with little of no regard to reality.

  2. Amongst other things - it ****es me off that they are so **** we rarely get to ****ing play them anymore.

What's the ****ing point of a derby if you never play them.

Arrange an end of season nasty.

Oh dear lord no. Used to think like that but now it's far funnier to have them where they are, they are far more frustrated than they would be if they had a chance to play us in any competition. The longer this goes on, the better it gets and the more far fetched become their arguments that they are somehow better than us.

  3. They do like their draws down tinpot way. They still rave about the 2-2 at St.Mary's a few seasons back. You know.... that game where we picked up a point that contributed to our promotion and where they dropped 2 points that contributed to their relegation.

Not the sharpest tools in the box.

    Just tools.

  4. The ref absolutely bottled it for the whole game - the behaviour at corners from Inter was unbelievable. How can you fail to blow the whistle when a player is hauled to the ground right in front of you?

One if not two of their players should have been sent off over their behaviour when the penalty was awarded.

    However.....

Atmosphere was simply brilliant. I usually sit in the family stand with my son but last night I was in the Kingsland, standing and singing with everyone else. I wish the Chapel end did the same tbh. Although it was great to see most of the ground react to 'Stand up if you love the Saints'

The performance from the team was the kind of performance I would like to see more of, in terms of digging deep and refusing to give in after a dire first half. I have no doubts that the fight back was led by Virgil who simply refused to accept what was going on.

What we saw from Inter was a typical team looking for a 1-0 with minimum effort. It amused the hell out of me to see their time wasting tactics change once we went ahead.

However none of that matters - we beat Inter Milan at home.

Of nights such as these a dreams made

  5. That's right they hated playing AC and didn't win on purpose to teach UEFA a lesson. They definitely don't have an AC Milan DVD and never made posters about "that night". They much prefer playing real teams like Mansfield.

Still amuses the hell out of me that they think one of their greatest achievements is a draw

  6. Got a ticket for tonight.

Got up an hour early to get a container to Somerset early because that particular warehouse are as good as gold and will tip you early. Got back to the docks at midday...... computer system crashed..... been sitting in area 3 for over an hour now just to get the empty off. I still need to load two '20's before getting back to the yard and swapping cab units.

    The clock is ticking.

  7. Welp, you can't win them all.

Chelsea just weren't going to allow anyone near their goal today. I thought Romeu was immense - really getting stuck in and he was everywhere. But we just didn't have enough to break them up enough to get more chances on goal.

Martina just looked lacking in a bit of confidence, several times he was looking to pass and just didn't look comfortable taking the ball on if there was no one to pass to.

  8. Clearly one of skatesmouth's finest.

    Classy bint.

There's a whole discussion here about being the product of upbringing and the society around you. I'll be honest she's not as rough as some of the middle aged sea monsters I've seen staggering up Shirley High Street of a Saturday night. But every city has those really.

I wonder if there is a line to be drawn between the generalised 'lol you're a skate' and specific targeting of an individual. Of course that would also include TWCTB but then I think he sets himself up for it.

Of course I might just be saying this because I think she has nice funbags. I don't know. Whatever. Stop looking at me.

  9. It is inevitable that they are going to start running out of money if they keep failing to get out of League Two, their business model of signing lower league journeymen and has beens each season is not sustainable.

I wonder how bad things will be if they fail to get promotion again this season?

  10. Robbed.

Played incredibly well, away support was phenomenal - proud of each and every Saint who made the journey.

Ref gave away some interesting decisions.

Got a ticket for the home fixture, can't wait to see what we do to them at home. Team will be looking for revenge i think

  11. Secretly they hated it. As they know, League 2 is just better than European football, it's closer to jumpers for goalposts and further from prawn sandwiches.

Just as much as they hated forking over the brown envelope stuffed ŵith used fivers for that FA cup

    ....sorry.....

Just as much as they hated winning the FA cup fair and square

  12. They'd rather be playing Wycombe - that's real football. They hated having to play Milan.

Careful now. Didn't you know that the draw achieved by the plucky minnows of the previous football club is considered one of their greatest achievements down at the smelly end of the m27?

  13. I wouldn't worry about it, they will always provide plenty of material for us to laugh at no matter which league they are in.

Im hoping for another season where they stutter along, scrape into the play offs and fail again. Of course the chances are they will actually do this and achieve promotion finally (at which point you can guarantee they will act as though this was the plan all along and celebrate like they've won the Treble)
