Is a season ticket tie up with a local non-league team possible?

Far be it to applaud anything the Skates have done, but it seems all paid up 'members' of the blue few this season get a free Havant and Waterlooville season ticket.

F*cking good idea frankly! Extra footy for free and better support for a small team.

Could a tie up with Totton, Eastleigh or Winchester be possible? Could be great publicity.

The way their finances are going, they'll only have Havant and Waterlooville to watch shortly.

Either that or they'll be in the same league, and I don't mean the Premier.

if i lived in winchester or wherever then i would defos go to watch them on a regular basis if it was for free tbh. the main factor that puts alot of ppl off watching semi-pro/amateur football is that its rediculously over-priced. if saints paid winchester £1000 for example - it would only need to sway 3 extra season ticket holders in2 buying 1, and would almost certainly make economic sense for the lesser club as well. the only prob might be trying to arrange fixtures so that they don't clash where pos but this wouldn't be a major issue if they did clash. im sure most would get over it.

Not up to us, is it. It's up to the non-league team if they want to let people into their ground for free. Interesting move by H&W, and it might well get them some extra cash through catering sales etc. But it would have been their call, not P*mp*ys.
