landford.saint Posted 12 March, 2010 Author Share Posted 12 March, 2010 For collectors items you are after my..... Mk2 Fiesta convertible (1 of only 5 known left) MK1 Escort (1970) 2 door (actually my wifes but she lets me drive it sometimes. MK 5 Cortina 2 litre injection 5 speed. (technically there was no such car as the mk 5 cortina, its official ford title was the Cortina 80). Mk 1 Fiesta

Mk 1 Fiesta Why do you not sell the lot and buy ONE decent car? ;-) Fwiw to prospective buyers, I have actually seen mr landford's car collection and can confirm that they are all nice tidy examples. Well looked after and well loved. And with the summer just around the corner I would highly recomend a convertible,, they do say that a motorbike is the next best thing but imo nothing compares. (my usual 10% mr l?)

This car was made for you and sometimes these opportunities come around at just the right time. i can se you sat in that little beauty, roof down, wind in your hair, James Taylor on the stereo thrashing down the country lanes of wherever looking gorgeous. If I had the money I would buy it for you I really would. Treat yourself. Go on you know you want to.

Hamster - you're tempting me again Sadly, with age comes common sense These days I need reliability of performance (phnar phnar) and also I'm not too sure the babies would appreciate the wind in their (lack of) hair
