Dicko Posted 23 September, 2008 Share Posted 23 September, 2008 I think they are currently in a dispute with their former owner. He owns Millmoor, and due to Rotherham being in administration, they cannot come to a financial agreement on the use of their old stadium I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong! ottery st mary Posted 23 September, 2008 Share Posted 23 September, 2008 why are Rotherham playing at the Don Valley stadium? havent they got their own anymore? maybe i missed that:confused: A family owned the old Rotherham ground Millmoor and rented the ground to club. Usual story increase in rents and certain conditions blah blah and a total falling out followed by discussions with council to build new home. Temporary measure to move to Don Valey Athletic track. Something similar to that.
AndyNorthernSaints Posted 23 September, 2008 Share Posted 23 September, 2008 Why are they still nicknamed "the Millers" if they don't play at Millmoor and the word "the" does not exist in Yorkshire?
