Laptop advice

I know one or two of you out there are very good at knowing where to get computer stuff from, and I think its about time I put my 17" 4 year old dell to rest now.

 

So I need a laptop nice and portable, good battery, screen up to 15" max, smaller the better tbh. Only to be used to surf the net, and perhaps some Football manager and to watch some downloaded films so HDMI port would be handy too. Any suggestions?
