The Humax HD-FOX T2 is the first high-definition receiver for the Freeview HD terrestrial aerial service, allowing access to free *HD digital channels, as well as all the existing SD channels too.

 

The Humax HD-FOX T2 will have an integrated DVB-T2 tuner, essential for picking up the Freeview HD signals (MPEG4 AVC/H.264 and MPEG2). The receiver will up-scale and output to 1080p at 50hz, meaning the broadcaster can change the signal (for films etc) without an interruption to the viewer.

 

Additional features will include the ability to display content from your home PC including MP3, JPEG, Xvid, AVI and MPEG formats. A USB slot will allow simple PVR functionality too, as well as being able to play content from an external hard drive in formats such as those mentioned above.
