Kingsland Codger Posted 11 September, 2012 Share Posted 11 September, 2012 I have been given an old iphone and am experiencing the following problem ... When receiving (and making) a call, I can hear the other person but they cannot hear me. However, when I touch the 'Speaker' button - then the other party can hear me. So I can use the phone but only if I don't mind others hearing the conversation. Hardly ideal. Any ideas how this problem can be fixed would be much appreciated. Many thanks in advance. Essruu Posted 11 September, 2012 Share Posted 11 September, 2012 Try just switching it off then back on again. Or just do a soft reset: Hold the power button and home button down at the same time, keep holding them until it shuts itself down and only release them when it starts to power itself back on and the Apple logo is displayed. Webby Posted 15 September, 2012 Share Posted 15 September, 2012 Sounds like a bigger problem to me, which is probably why you were given it. There's a guy down in Whiteley that does repairs at reasonable prices. I'll come back with a link. http://www.corephone.co.uk/
