Spam Advice

For some time, I've noticed that I'm getting spam emails into my spam box from people either in my contacts list or people I've been in touch with via email, ie a couple of guys who do double glazing that I asked to give me quotes.

 

I use Norton Security Suite which has never detected a virus and it's Gmail's spam checker which correctly identifies these messages as spam, but I'm wondering if it's my system that got infected at some stage, or them just clicking on clickbait messages in the past. It's not a huge problem but I wonder where the problem actually is?
