The Fat Controller Posted 4 February, 2009 Share Posted 4 February, 2009 Why not make the Saints Players use the away changing room at St Mary's it's a bit more cramped like every other away dressing room. Freezing cold showers and baths if they lose and no wages if they dont win simple. If i didnt do my work properly i'd be sacked.. and these players earn vast sums from the money what we pay to travel distances to see play them out of our smaller incomes. Would we still be paid if we didnt deliver our work and would our managers make excuses to the customers? Don't think so It's time to get real Saints - we can't afford to watch you play, and you must realise that paying for football tickets is getting lower on most people's priority to spend money on The club is not serving up a product that people want and definitely not at a affordable price. Last night the weather was poor.. The championship teams are charging more than the premier league for games how can this be justified... 13,000 gate gives you your answer What will our gate be in league 1 - probabaly no more than 9,
bungle Posted 4 February, 2009 Share Posted 4 February, 2009 I never get this comparison. The basic wage is to turn up and play football. Which is what they do. Your basic wage is for doing the basics of your job. Many of them will have performances related bonuses which they will clearly not be getting many of. You may have this in your job. You may not. Anyway, it is silly comparing football to 'regular' work. Also, you chose an odd title for this thread considering most of it has nothing to do with how we play football. Surely true 'performance related pay' would mean that if your performances weren't up to scratch - you wouldn't get paid. That would motivate them more than Wotte can. Unrealistic yes, but as Rupert's after revolutionising football, he might as well try this theory out as he continues to fvck up our club...
