Summers Posted 22 April, 2009 Share Posted 22 April, 2009 Whilst only being a fan, and a busy one at that, I've not had much time available recently to do anything for Saints, but whilst pulling off an allnighter tonight to get some of my dissertation done, I thought I'd leave a message whilst i've got chance :-) Boys and Girls of Southampton, Whilst the outlook is bleak, WE are the PEOPLE that can SAVE this club. If we get relegated, Sh*t happens. End of the day its surviving the sh*t flung at us that proves we are strong. What is stopping us? I'm sure we all want to see this club reach its 125th year of existance. WE can do this. Get down St Mary's Deck the place out in Red and White Sell the club to anyone who's ''thinking'' about buying it Its not hard. Whats the point in whining at each other here. End of the day we all need to pull together as you never know who's looking at this board, Potential investors? Maybe? WE know that WE can save this club. I might have only been a twinkle when we won the FA Cup in 76, but I'm sure that anyone who's been a fan for that long knows how much that piece of history means to the club. We won something that some clubs could only bloody dream about winning. Lets do this. 32,689 on Saturday, Recreate Dellhurst park at the City Ground on the following Sunday. Even if we are down, Whats to stop us all having a good old sing-song and getting the last five seasons out of our system? Nothing at all. Fellow Saints fans. We are the future, there will always be a Saints in our hearts. No previous boards or board members will ever take that away from us, despite their utmost efforts. Dip your hands in your pockets, stop giving to the samaritans, Give it to some real Saints. Saints are in a situation similar to someone needing a transplant and if we search hard enough, WE can find that organ donor. Lets do this guys. We can keep this club afloat, We are Southampton, the pride of the South P.S. Can we get the lads out, for the final game of the season to a Saints song. Whether it be The Saint or U2 & Green Day's The Saints are Coming. Just something to make Burnley **** themself when they come into the Red and White cauldron on Saturday. Come on you f*cking Saints! pilsburydoughboy Posted 22 April, 2009 Share Posted 22 April, 2009 I purchased six tickets today and sadly i feel many peole have already given up.I asked about sales and it did not seem that the club would sell more than 25 thousand. Given that the Charlton game was rammed and the players did not give a s h i t e you can hardly blame people for not attending.

niceandfriendly Posted 22 April, 2009 Share Posted 22 April, 2009 will be there and have somehow managed to persuade 2 others who don't usually go to attend. One of them is a Manure fan so I don't feel guilty about taking recommending him a product which no doubt will disappoint again! Still, we need as big a gate as possible - bring your mates! Even your Aunty Pat, she'll love it.
oxfordshire_saint Posted 22 April, 2009 Share Posted 22 April, 2009 I'll be at the game, with my neutral brother in tow. I've dragged him to 7 Saints games and he's never seen us lose, he worked as a lucky charm on the final day last season, who knows, he might be useful again!
