  1. The guy is finally fit and chomping at the bit. If Adams isn't fit start Stewart. He may score two goals in the opening 15 minutes or he may struggle. Either way he's a better option down the middle than Mara of AA and we know how little we'll get from those two especially the former.
  2. If Adams isn't fit I'd start with Stewart and see how he does. There are plenty of subs these days if it doesn't work. The last thing I want to see if Adams is out is Mara or AA down the middle.
  3. The result of this game is immaterial.
  4. Well at a guess I would imagine WGS was slightly concerned about the firepower of Arsenal's team which included Bergkamp, Henry, Pires and Ljundberg. They would have torn us to shreds in an open game.
  5. And if we play a strong side and get hammered and pick up injuries is it a risk worth taking? Don't get me wrong I get what you're saying about not wanting to lose 4 in a row. I guess you have to decide which is the more damaging scenario. For me it's another possible hammering of the first team and injuries to key players so I'd play a weakened side for this one.
  6. Play a team made up of fringe players and youngsters. There's nothing in this game for us so if they hammer us at least it won't be the team they may face at Wembley so no dent to our already frail confidence plus we don't want to risk injuries.
  7. Had high hopes when they took over but they've been an unmitigated disaster from day one with no signs that lessons are being learned. Rasmus is not even close to being as clever as he thinks he is which is a huge worry. Hope we appoint a new DoF with a bit of nous and knowledge about the game and some new ideas.
  8. Will not matter because Ipswich will surely manage at least a point at home to Huddersfield. Good luck to them - fully deserved and they have a coach with a bit of intelligence who knows how to swing momentum their way when needed - wish I could say the same about RM but he's the polar opposite.
  9. Meaningless game now. Damp squib in the end. Ipswich deservedly going up with Leicester.
  10. Come on - he genuinely believes Baz is one of the best.
  11. Nothing unlucky - RM backed Bazunu and tried to convince us he's among the best keepers in the division.
  12. Maybe because we keep selecting the wrong ones.
  13. The manager may be wrong but the squad definitely needs a reset. Less slow, small, feeble weaklings with no stamina and more big, powerful athletes who can tackle, jump and run for 90 minutes - if they can play a bit that's a bonus 🙂
  14. Forest struggling at the wrong end of the Prem but would probably hammer us if we played them. Gave City a good run for their money and Chris Woods missed two sitters.
