first half WBA paced behind the ball, second half they pushed up, which left gaps. We played pretty well in both halves IMO.

Played pretty well. Not perfect, but the workrate when we didn't have the ball was outstanding. Hussled and pressed and made them turn the ball over a lot. Very happy with that.

He works very hard, but he lacks genuine pace and ability to beat a man and is reliant on others to put him in, when sometimes we want him to be the creator.

WBA are really dangerous at set pieces. Bartley especially. Another reason for playing Stephens I guess.

certainly need a little more invention in the final third. Fraser, Aribo and Brooks not really looked to take anyone on or drive at oponents (apart from the one lungbusting run by Brooks).

How did we?

Totally dominated. Been first to everything. Prevented them getting out of their own half never mind create chances. Can't ask lot more than that. Created a few half chances. Wish it was a few more. If Fraser could control the ball with his left peg, he'd of been in both times. We badly needed a goal to force them out. Unfortunately, WBA have played 5 at the back and their midfield have been dee too, so not a lot of space. Obviously worried that we have burned a lot of energy and when space opens up they will hit us on the break. If we were any good at it I'd suggest we sit back and invite them on to us and hit them on the break.

makes sense. Great place to complete a football career.
