he honestly did nothing other chasing shadows. There were very few moments when he got the chance to do something with ball, but he looked as hesitant as ever. He's a busted flush
-
Another good reason for that sub then. hmm. Martinelli had done him. Bloody hell he was quick. Their wingers too both full backs apart. Saka waltzed past Perraud for the first goal. Thought Perraud had a decent game overall though. KWP really struggled.
-
Maybe. But did you see Pope let one straight through him the other day? Exactly the kind of goal we have been slating Bazunu for. Other keepers do fuck up too. We only give a fuck about our own. Not sure this draw was down to him.
-
good point. I forgot he had a yellow. Adding Lyanco did seem to fill some gaps and negate the two Arsenal wingers who were killing us.
-
I don't tend to get involved in the Ely hate on here, but I didn't think he did much other than track runners.
-
crumble under a bit of pressure? It was relentless for the whole game. In truth, Arsenal deserved a point. They could have scored a hatful on another day.
-
Arsenal ran us ragged from start to finish. The performance wasn't all that. Just fans expectations are much lower when we play the top teams.
-
this.
-
I have to say I feared the worst, but not because we are bottlers, because they were out on their feet.
-
we spent pretty much the whole 90 minutes hanging on for grim life. The only difference was we added a CB, which to fair made us a bit tighter and harder to break down.
-
I am wondering, was he not also out on his feet? I'd be surprised if he was in a worse state than Ely, but he had to be struggling, surely?
-
AA came off before Lavia?
-
he's pretty crap in the air from the hoofed long balls. Much worse than Crouch used to be. He did hold the ball up pretty well on one occasion, down the right wing. Other than that it was chasing shadows...as it was for AA before him.
-
need to watch again, but wasn't it a good save?
-
he'd already gone down with cramp ten minutes before that...yet we kept on to the death. The second goal could have been prevented if he had been off and fresh legs were on. Piss poor management.
-
completely fucks Arsenal's title challenge up. I'm happy with that....and the massive effort from the players...not much else though. Gutted.
-
I honestly don't understand why Ely was not subbed. Not because I don't rate him.bit because he was absolutely fucked from about the 80th minute. He could hardly move. We took an age to get Diallo ready to come on, only for it to be Lavia that came off. Was Lavia also fucked?
-
Ely has been out on his feet for ten minutes. Why on earth has he not been subbed?
-
fucking cross it KWP you twat. What a great chance.
-
not for me. We actually look dangerous on the break. If we make a change, it should be to bring more pace on in the form of Sulemana not Onuachu.

I'd of thought Potter was still worth a place on the `Prem manager merry go round'. We'd need to go for someone that has finally fallen off it, or perhaps has spent time on the bumper cars and now wants to run the waltzer. We'll probably end up with the guy that works on the coconut shy...sorry, I'm talking drivel.

You don't fancy Gattuso? I wonder what would be considered a hipster managerial selection for us in the summer and what wouldn't? When Swansea got Potter, wasn't he a bit left field and perhaps a `hipster' appointment? How about when we appointed Poch? How about Ralph or Jones? Does the appointment have to be Colin Wanker to avoid that moniker?
-
I wonder what the difference is. Does the `coach' job title simply mean that he doesn't get a say or final vote on transfers/contract renewals...and maybe an excuse to pay a smaller wage? I'd be interested to know what responsibilities the manager has now and what will be taken away.
-
got Derby to the play off final in his one season there, albeit they finished 6th and miles behind Leeds in 3rd. He brought in young talent on loan from top Prem clubs, with Mount, Wilson and Tomori particularly successful. Sounds like that (bringing in young talent) will be are continued transfer philosophy next season.

you are missing out. Seeing the contents of the trophy cabinet is worth the fee alone. Highlights for me were the lump of crystal and carriage clock...I kid you not.
