I recall us coming back from 2-0 away at Preston in 2008, but I don't recall us ever coming back from three down away in my lifetime.

Apart from starting Archer - and there may be reasons for that in terms of match fitness of the other two strikers - Tonda didn't do much wrong, did he? Lots of moaning on here, quite rightly for the first half performance, but that wasn't all down to him. For example, Jander was bloody great on Saturday but played like he was pissed tonight. Is that Tonda's fault? All the subs had an impact and were made just at the right time. Asking him to take two players off after 20 minutes is ludicrous. the long and shirt of it is he inspired one of the greatest come backs in our history. I'm getting a bit bored of the constant Tonda bashing. Perhaps some on here need to give him some credit when we fucking win - like tonight.

amazing. What a goal. What a comeback. Tonda team talk was something else.
-
what a ball from Charles. Azaz maybe should have done better

Leicester fans feeling like we often do.

Loving this. A come back from 0-3. Tonda subs have done the trick.
-
Yep. The players are certainly playing for the manager. What a chance for Stephens.
-
Great chance for Larin, but his touch is not good enough....it matters not. What a finish from Stephens. We have been very good in the second half. Charles pulling the strings.
-
Wellington hasn't been all that.
-
we've got to the byline a few times after good build up play but the crosses have been easily cut out.
-
Not seen much of him before tonight, but Matsuki looks to be too slow to play out wide.
-
Looks like it was a decent half time talk.

one or two flat track bullies. Fellows is obviously a decent championship player, but he just lacks that extra bit you need to be a PL player. Wellington is not a great defender. That's why he couldn't get a game in the PL - he sells himself too often. The first touch of players like Archer are just not good enough. It's not all down to Tonda. The players have not performed so far tonight.

The actual quality of our players becomes very clear when they are put against talented opponents.
-
why didn't he sub two players after 20 minutes?
-
I agree. There was some nice first touches, but in amongst those were a couple of signs that he's perhaps a bit heavy footed. He wasn't quick, that's for sure. There was a ball played through/over the top where he had a great chance to score if he could be first, but he was outpaced by the defender. Whether that is down to a lack of fitness or he has lost a yard of pace since he was playing in MLS/Turkey, we will shall see. To be honest, I wasn't expecting him to be quick. As per his videos, what he did look like is a player that can play with his back to goal and hold the ball up - and goals apart, that's what we need from a number 9.

What's the £2m adds on based on I wonder? If it's appearances, then I hope he does OK so he actually plays games and we get the £2m, which will be much needed if we don't get promoted this or next year.

That type of cross was very effective last season for WBA with Maja scoring a lot of his goals from them. I prefer them where they are, but every three f four times they need to go outside and use their swinger.
-
Maybe the top three or four are not as stand out, but the rest of the league might be a bit better? It's hard to tell as we are not as good as we were, so everyone we play this season looks better than they did two seasons ago. Great run of games coming up. We could win them all.
-
What a great opportunity. All the games are tough and we will have to play well to win any of them, but equally they are not exactly Cov or Boro, are they.
-
I thought Azaz did more running in the first half than I've seen him do all season. He was constantly moving to make himself available. So busy. From previous games I thought he was possibly a bit lazy, but I was impressed.
-
But once you start winning it can become a habit. If you have decent players, a decent plan and the all important confidence, then you can become unstoppable. One defeat and it could all go to shit mind, but maybe it never happens. Maybe.
-
yep. Talking of which, they might want to replace those white shorts. They looked they'd gone in the same wash as the shirts.

The coming inside things looks like it's taking us nowhere, and it probably is, but it does help us keep possession and remove pressure on our defence. It also breaks up the predictable pattern of play of across the back four and down the sides and the back again. It opens things up and drags players out of position. That said, when he's in the final third, I'd like him to go outside a few more times (Leo too) to keep the fullback honest. They are both stronger on their 'other' foot, lack blistering pace and aren't strong, which is why they come inside a lot.

he was mentioned a lot on the summer hcdajfu thread. Really good player. Great first touch and strength. Bree did a good job to limit his clear cut chances
