I'm all for keeping the ball, and every now and then it will cost you like it has today, you have to accept that, but far too often we just go backwards and then the keeper hoofs it. Better to swing a cross in from deep than hoof a ball a long from your keeper.

Sounds a lot. In how any games? To be fair, they attack a lot and have pacey tricky players that get in the box...plus one or two that know how to make the most of opportunities. The more you are in the box the more chance you have of getting pens. 19 sounds a lot though.

you see games when teams go a man down and lose five nil, but you say to yourself that it could easily have been 10. Missed chances, great saves, slight errors from attacking teams etc. I guess this was one of those days when chances were taken. I'm trying to make myself feel a bit better. Not sure why.
