  1. Its back-to-back wins for Saints - and that means happy Podcasters! Episode 69 sees the three of us reflect on all the key talking points from a hot and sunny Amex Stadium – including a fabulous performance by Saints Captain, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. It also includes our preview of next Friday's tough looking fixture against title-chasing Liverpool. If you'd like to listen to the Podcast Episode then you can here: SoundCloud: https://bit.ly/2YETAK5 acast: https://bit.ly/2rDv9gW Spotify: https://spoti.fi/2R0d0Ee iTunes: https://apple.co/2OuQJys Adam thinks we're almost safe now. Lets hope so! It'll mean a much more enjoyable last 4-5 games of the season, compared to 12 months ago! Happy listening, B
  2. Thanks! Saints Archive deserve all the credit for sorting Glenn’s appearance
  3. Weirdly Glenn Cockerill has just been on TSP tonight, and mentioned a couple of times that, whilst fans wouldn't necessarily appreciate it, Branfoot was a decent man (albeit his handling of the Jimmy Case and Le Tissier situations wasn't great)
  4. The FA Cup/International break means there are no games for Saints at the moment, but that hasn’t stopped the TSP chaps getting together for Episode 68 - for a Q+A session, driven by our incredibly supportive Patreon Patrons. Conversation covers players that may go/come this summer, Academy prospects, pre-season and an update on the status of Les Reed’s ‘replacement(s)’. As well as that – and before our Brighton & Hove Albion preview – in partnership with Saints Archive, we’re delighted to welcome former Saints midfielder Glenn Cockerill. Glenn talks about how he got into football and life at/memories of his Dell days. 5. Podcasting – whether producing or listening – can sometimes be a dark, lonely experience. But when results come along like they did yesterday, it makes it all very worthwhile! Episode 67 sees us look back on a wonderful three points for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men - covering a second half full of belief, the impact of Josh Sims and also another stunning free-kick from, man of the moment, James Ward-Prowse. Alongside all that, we analyse the latest Saints 2017/18 financial accounts – and some of the obvious questions they raise. Up The Saints (and catch you soon), B
  6. Episode 66 of Total Saints Podcast is available now - as we reflect on the important 3 points against Fulham, and the gutting 3-2 defeat at Manchester United - a performance which left Adam very encouraged about the team's chances of survival. Sandwiched between that and our Tottenham preview, is the latest Total Recall - where we recall the last ever game at The Dell - May 19th 2001, and a very special last minute goal from a certain Mr Le Tissier. 7. Sadly, you’ll have to wait until post-Man Utd! But if that goes really badly then we’ll 100% focus on the Fulham game anyway!
  8. It’s a second Total Saints Podcast of the week, as Episode 65 sees the 3 of us reflect on the disappointing 2-0 defeat up at Arsenal. We chat about recent holiday's to Asia, Dubai and, er, Dundee, preview the upcoming game for Saints at Arsenal, reflect on Michael Obafemi's new deal at St. Mary's and finally discuss the recent Jisheng Gao/Lander Sports shareholding news. In the middle of all that we speak with James Hallett from Happy Hot Tubs - sponsors of the Podcast for 2018-19. James talks about the two biggest loves in his life - hot tubs and Southampton FC! 10. It was a disappointing result for Saints against Cardiff City, but Episode 63 of TSP saw us trying to remain as positive and optimistic as we could about the run until the end of the season. Joining us this week, with Steve and Adam both on holiday (not together - apparently!) were Simon Peach, Glen de la Cour and Freddie from The Ugly Inside. We chatted all things Ralph Hasenhuttl, Jack Stephens, Ryan Bertrand, Shane Long, Emiliano Sala, dropped points, injury-time goals, relegation fights and Tenerife! 11. Thanks Saint Billy. Jim's memory of that winner against Bradford seemed as clear as the day he scored it, eh! Really appreciate the Saints Archive chaps inviting him on.
  12. A tale of two draws for Saints this week. One a fightback. One a heartbreak. Episode 62 of TSP sees Ben joined by Steve and Sam Appleton (Sky Sports employee and Saints fan) to reflect on the Crystal Palace and Burnley games, including Wilfried Zaha’s bizarre red card. In this week’s Total Recall, Will Dawe and Leon Burton from Saints Archive invite a famous 1976 FA Cup winner onto the Podcast – Jim McCalliog. We talk to a charming Jim about that famous day in 1976, his time with Saints in general and what he makes of the Club/team these days. Finally, we preview next weekend’s Premier League game against Cardiff City. Yet another ‘six-pointer’! 13. Cheers SuperSAINT! Ha. I bet it’s not lived in his memory the way it has/will mine!
  14. Back-to-back Saints wins in the Premier League - how enjoyable! Episode 61 looks back at the 3 points against Everton - discussing Prowsey, own goals, confidence, smiles and Ralph Hasenhuttl. Adam also gives a transfer window update, and we look back at last week's Fans Forum with Hasenhuttl, Krueger and co. We're also joined by Will and Leon from Saints Archive to 'recall' the 2008 Sheffield United win at St. Mary's - retaining our Championship position on the last day of the season. It also includes me telling everyone how I ended up kissing Paddy Kenny...! 15. A very hold thread here (thanks to SuperSAINT for also flagging), but - as we had Grant Coleman on Total Saints Podcast this past weekend - thought I'd post the links to the Episode, in case anyone hadn't seen it and/or wanted to listen. Grant reminisced on some of his memories working in and around Saints, and the South Coast, during the early-to-mid 90s. We also tried to clear up the "who did he really support" question..... You can find the Podcast here: SoundCloud: https://bit.ly/2VJssrY acast: https://bit.ly/2ClySos iTunes: https://apple.co/2OuQJys Thanks Ben
  16. Thanks SuperSaint. Came across it when researching for the Pod actually - hence mentioning the "couldn't confirm which game they were commentating on until 3:05pm" question. Tried desperately hard to find the old jingle. But no luck. Lost in the analogue-to-digital conversion it would appear. Anyway, will drop the links to the Podcast in that thread tonight, in case anyone is interested/missed them above
  17. The latest Episode of TSP (Episode 60) is now available for anyone that would like to listen. We reflect on a superb 3 points for Saints at Leicester City, as well as discussing Le Tiss becoming an Ambassador for Saints, and the potential opportunity for some of the loanees who've returned to the Club over the past 7-10 days. Finally we chat briefly about the Derby County FA Cup replay, and look ahead to Everton's visit to St. Mary's next weekend. Our Total Recall this week sees former Radio Solent Sports Editor, Grant Coleman, join us. Grant reminisces on some of his memories working in and around Saints, and the South Coast, during the early-to-mid 90s. You can find the Podcast here: SoundCloud: https://bit.ly/2VJssrY acast: https://bit.ly/2ClySos iTunes: https://apple.co/2OuQJys Thanks, as always, to those that take the time to listen to us, UTS, B

  19. After back-to-back wins, it was back-to-back losses for Saints this week, firstly against West Ham United and then Manchester City. Episode 58 sees Adam, Steve and Ben reflect on those setbacks for Hasenhuttl, summarise 2018 and look ahead to 2019 (along with some of our listeners views), before previewing the tough looking trips to Chelsea and Derby this coming week. Should you wish to listen to the Podcast, you can find the links here: iTunes: https://apple.co/2OuQJys SoundCloud: https://bit.ly/2CGGpzz acast: https://bit.ly/2rDv9gW You can also find TSP on other channels as well, including Player FM and Google Podcasts.
