Because you can see both are levels above both current players ability in the team.

If you are going to play that argument I'll point you in Lavias direction.

Seen alot of him in the championship, that was enough for me to be convinced.

He looked as tall as Russ in one of rhe videos I saw earlier., I'm pretty certain Russ isn't 5 11

Taylor - Bednarek - Edwards. This is going to be a excellent back 3.

It's the 2nd of July FFS.

I'm surprised we haven't heard anything regarding DCC, Sure his obligation kicks in from Monday. Interestingly Ches still on there too, But no Stuey.

https://x.com/AdamLeventhal/status/1808166539289399654?t=XC3kGid_-4mEDxLF9y_F-g&s=19 Ronnie edwards for 3Million with add ons and a sale on clause. 4years plus a option of a 5th. Here we go. Already undergoing medical.

I'd suggest we are going to a back 5 and will need 5 CBs. If we were to sell AbK & Bednarek then I'd stil expect a 1st choice CB to come in.

Wow Saints, That is incredibly shrewd. I really wanted Edwards, but both for 6Million is ridiculous value.

Club is close to signing Ronnie Edwards and Nathan Woods.

Incoming Michail Antonio.

I'm expecting us to need to sign another CB if I'm honest. Bednarek only has 1 more year left on his deal and it wouldn't surprise me if teams come in for him.

Ben Jacobs has said the fee for Nathan Woods is £5Million

If we can get £20Million.. Then cya later.

Maybe he needs to fulfill a quota of passes before he passes the medical.

Well one day is for Woods, you'd suggest. Why does a player need 2 days for a medical? I could be being dumb - but I would think that means for 2 players.

Rumoured to have been £20Million with a further 5Million in add ons

Was always getting rejected at the rumoured fee.

He's like Steven Davis and Stuey Armstrong rolled into 1.

I've always been a firmer believer in needing grafters and and good squad options, these aren't spectacular but the kind of players we need. Solid enough but not on long contracts either., hopefully.

That would be 3 really good premier league level stalwarts, all with vast experience at this level and will be good with the youngsters. Shrewd.

Looking at the free transfers coming in and loanees being tied up, RB, Number 8 & 9 will be huge priorities.

Based on rumours this is where I am at currently with the players likely to come in and and our current crop; Macca; New RB, THB, Bednarek, Taylor; Downes; Smallbone, New 8 Arma, New 9, New Winger.
