What an interesting thought... As we have seen from the Puel thread, he and Henry seem to have a great relationship.
What a positive impact the presence of Henry could have on the whole squad. If this was a viable option, the only question would be his Sky commitments.
I think you can do both, it's up to him if he wants to be over-worked. Southampton - London isn't hideously far to travel ...

I don't yet know what the German research team have done with him for FM17, but in FM16 he had a potential ability significantly above any other Saints player.
Youtube "highlight" videos can be derided, the ones that show every touch in one match give a better idea. Here he is as an 18 year old playing out of position wide on the right for Pep's Bayern in the German Cup final vs Dortmund...
His range of passing is a lot more impressive than Wanyama's.
The best thing to come of this signing is discovering the 'RAC mix' of Blue jeans by Lana Del Rey, great track.

'Really good play from Southampton's Cedric Suarez"
Like that
He owned Pogba and that w*nky dancing, top work fella. Fonte awesome in the air too - so composed.
-
This guy looks class, really composed - definitely the Morgan replacement, lovely stuff. Him and Romeo together would work nicely.
-
Add Davis, Long, Bertrand, Forster and Pelle and I think thats the list.
Lightweights, they've all had a week off now at least
-
Anyone know the players still to return to training?
I'm assuming it's just Fonte and Cedric, is that right?
-
This is mental no matter how you slice it.
To think they let him go four years ago, and now are going to pay that much to get him back.
Its disgusting, utterly obscene. I genuinely mean that - no one person deserves to be paid that much money, especially for playing f**king football.
I'm no socialist or anti-capitalist, but it really does repulse me.
-
Fonte is brilliant! It's HIM that I'm worried about replacing when he hangs up his boots for Saints.
-
Championship. I've promoted him since the Arsenal away game.

Distinctly league one Sheffield United.
To go with our League 1 goalie, yes?

#braraised
Winner!!

I thought Palace was the best one. It had both the enthusiasm and the professionalism. Ours was a little too corporate, but still one of the better ones.
Agree with that!

I love Saints but this kit reveal is so ridiculous, it is like we're announcing a new stadium... So much build up, i'm not being a spoilsport I just think it makes us look a little silly..
Unless they're unveiling Gareth Bale wearing the kit ...
-
New PL numbers and typography - absolutely vile...

WTF is that a '6' or an 'o' with an acute accent?? Bizarre.

The Daily Star in being wrong shock, non-shock.
-
What time is the release?
I'm guessing 11am?
No idea, but it's getting f**king tedious now. Does any other club drag it out this much FFS?
I'm only waiting so I can buy my son his first kit now he's just turning 2.

Gordon Bennett, this city needs some investment. Prime waterside land, city centre next to the football stadium and we use it for a friggin' cement factory.
It's an industrial city! Famous for its docks and it used to be the home of the Ford Transit and Pirelli etc etc etc. So parts of the city look like people work there and have a function, because they do; it can't all be gentrified and boring looking 'apartments'. Most of the really nice historical buildings also had the sh*t bombed out of them, completely obliterated and replaced quickly by 50s concrete.
It isn't actually an ugly city anyway, have you been to other cities and towns in the UK?
As for people saying the new coaching team look unimpressed, they're probably just taking in their new surroundings and home. Of course they won't like the club yet, they've yet to experience a good match day, all the squad back and so on. A couple of 8-1 home wins and they'll love the place

Same. Every answer would be "meet in front of the train station" - but in French - as that is the only thing I remember from GCSE French
"Hi Patrick Bateman, please tell us how you feel about managing a French club of this stature?"
Je voudrais une chambre avec douche.
-
Meh, I like that kit and it's still the one I wear when training over any other previous kit.
Agreed - I didn't get all the fuss over how 'hideous' it was.

So our useless striker goes and ****s it up for Italy. The only thing I'm surprised at is that he didn't spend the next 10 minutes moaning at other people.
The sooner he leaves, the better.
Not being able to hit the target is criminal.
You helmet.
Have you watched him play every match for Italy? He's been brilliant, in fact in the last match everyone was creaming themselves about him. He took a bloody awful penalty today, horrendously awful, but so did at least 5 others.
He's had a great tournament.

Most the comments said a high up bra. Good effort though.
F**k off you whopper.
-
I'm already bored with seeing that slightly inaccurate twitter rework, it's nice, but there are a few things wrong with both designs, most obviously the collars, the shape of the top panel and the away socks.
I'm more disturbed that people seem to think a bra is that high up? I mean, WTF?

really i cant find 1 good thing to say about it!
Reminds me a little of the mid 80s, which isn't a bad thing.
