just a reminder of Toby's words in the Echo on May 14th
"I don't feel it is my last game, or my last home game, I don't feel like this, because I'm happy here and there is an opportunity that I would stay here, so I don't feel it's the last game".

if he's easily worth 11 mill plus then
1 the fee at the end of the season should have been more
2 Atletico should have cancelled the agreement in time.

Doesn't alter the fact that the British taxpayer is subsidising the wage bill of these big, wealthy companies. How is that right?
People can't moan about 'subsidising' people in receipt of in-work benefits but ignore the fact that they're actually lining the pockets of company bosses and shareholders.
The Square Mile = Benefits Street
Because subsidizing some of a wage is better than paying full unemployment benefit.
-
Better paid workers = more disposable income = more profits = more jobs
Easy this, ain't it?
No profits, no reserves for bad years, no company left, no money for pension or taxes.
-
Oh, poor them. Only £695m in profits last year - boo hoo!
You really are a f*cktard of enormous magnitude.
you do realize there are other uses for profits other than wages, right?
The profit is probably needed to counter the reduction in value of the company due to losses in share value.

The Guardian writer is an idiot.
It's difficult enough for high street shops to make money as it is.

Hearing it's a done deal :-( . I just hope we haven't wasted too much time on pursuing him. We still need 4 more players imo. Hopefully Les has been working on other targets.Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
You also told us Schneiderlin to Man U was a done deal a few days before Koeman said no serious bids had been recieved.

Forget about earlobes, That's quite the elbow Boris has there.
Tennis elbow isn't it doctor?

13 goals in his last 12 games looking at the stats. he was on fire after he picked up the African cup of Nations winners medal.

Les Reed on Clyne, from daily express:
So what was out in the official website then... Good ole express

I think the 1.3 update was for pc today.
Mobile platforms tend to be on a different development cycle.

Or stays at Madrid.Yep, but in that case I wouldn't expect any payment until after the transfer window closes.

Hasn't that option to buy clause been bought out by AM now? I thought we were back to square one and he is currently a Madrid player again? No business in their right mind would make that payment to us while negotiations between parties are ongoing.
I would expect that payment only to be made if he joins another club.

A whole 10 million euros..wow big money...
£7 million in today's money.. But it'll probably be £6.5 million at this time next week. Because Greece.

Not unheard of though how old was Pelle?
28 and 360 days....
-
29 does seem on the very highest end of the scale of where we've bought in recent years.

That's the incorrect impression you have.We had a chance to purchase home for £6.7m. If Atletico didn't want to sell him to us/sell him tp someone else then they pay us the £2m. That's what is likely to happen. There is no way in hell we bid anywhere near £18m for him.
but we have then got a free 2 million pounds to use towards his cost that spurs dont have. so he will be 2 million cheaper to us than spurs.

Hello £36.5 million
-
Clyne missed three games last season.
Chelsea, Arsenal, Hull.
All at St Mary's.
We got 7 points from 9.

There was a wedding picture with red and white balloons on Twitter. (Obviously the three teams he's played for have red and white first kits, not Saints specific).

Just enough to counter income and reduce the tax burden. It's the sensible thing to do.

I included them in the points with. But I take your point it could easily argued that
40 in 36 games with takes it down to 1.53 pppg
20 in 12 games without takes it to 1.66 ppg
