Or is it management of an older player?

Nb. IF Tonda wins manager of the month for November (which, as we currently top the form table, is a possibility) unless anyone can find any different, the last interim manager to win it was Lee Carsley at Brentford in 2015. A man with the initials RA was joint director if football there, and they went on to appoint Dean Smith as manager (finishing 5th)
-
Selles had an interim status BETWEEN Hassenhuttl and Jones Rusk had an interim status BETWEEN Martin and Juric but when you look at it, no manager has ever won their first 4 games with Saints. If we hadnt offered him the job after 12 points in five games, i think anyone would wsay, "well what else could i do?" and depart to a club with cajones at the earliest opportunity In our position there's only two options in a managers fate. either they will be so good, that they'll be eventually poached by a bigger club. Or they'll get sacked. Hopefully, this time it will be the former.

If announcement is before game, then would anticipate today, as Tonda's press conferences have been Friday AM
-
The Tonda work permit will probably be due to the Governing Body Endorsement, and the fact that he hasnt managed before. completely separate to any work permit needed for being in a role that isnt manager or "interim manager".

TBF seeing their record against us at their place is W0 D2 L7 they've got to pull the away results out...
-
Because Millwall are a physical side, and Romeu would be physical in return.
-
Tonda is intense when focusing on Blackmore in the press conference, but he cant help breaking out in smiles at points. one of them was when Romeu was mentioned, and it could mean a Jander / Romeu partnership in the middle of the pitch.

Missed our end of season run in League One. So count my previous post as the best in the top two divisions and we continued this one into the first 4 games of 11/12.

2001 Premier League under Hoddle. the Everton game was the last game before Spurs got Hoddle from us.
-
I know it would be great to score more. But if you've got the opportunity to conserve a little energy by effectively winning the game in the first half, then you're already potentially in a better position than your next opponent.
-
Tonda speaks and gives nothing away. When interviewer asks if you're expecting a team to sit back or attack, he says "both' When hes asked about tactics he gives eff all away.

Vestergaard is 6 foot 6, Quarshie is 6 foot 5. that's the reason I'm placing on that selection

Ah the classic, read to much into a post on a message board. It's just a fun excuse to put a stupid gif up.

Leicester City defensive dilemma for Southampton as injuries and suspension leave them short | Leicestershire Live
-
You know Goztepe are challenging for Europe at the moment, right?
-
What are you expecting tactically from Leicester as a team? TE: We're going to be prepared for both a team that comes out and plays and wants to sit in. We're going to be prepared for both. The set-up in their press is a lot different, and playing against a different shape is a lot different. I think the references on the pitch are a lot different. The spaces are going to be somewhere else compared to Saturday. So, yes, we need to be ready for that.
-
That was a really interesting press conference. Tonda saying he would prepare the team for two situations. If Leicester sat back, or if Leicester pressed. Also said the spaces available for a Leicester formation would be completely different from Charlton. This is going to be a really interesting match.

Here's Charlton's home record so far this season. After yesterday, they've conceded 9 goals at home. 5 to us. Their only other loss at home so far was 0-1 against Leicester. In all 16 games, so against ⅔ of the league, Charlton have conceded 17 goals. FIVE of those are against us. "It was Charlton FFS" is an utterly crap argument.
-
They're 3 points above us.
-
Look at the table now and you can see these 9 points were essential. It seems that, other than top spot, everything is to play for from the position we're in. The 9 points between us and 2nd spot is assailable if we keep on as we are. Leicester is going to be a fascinating game. I absolutely don't want any coaching changes at the moment.
