Yeah, twice actually. Plus I've been directly responsible for the life of someone suffering cardiac arrest and been involved with the air ambulance, so perhaps go easy on the 'moron'.
IF an air ambulance is requested, it takes 10 seconds to radio the other stewards and have someone near the dugouts tell the fourth official, so they can then call the players off. As far as I'm aware that wasn't the case today, never has been at St Mary's and isn't for the overwhelming majority of medical incidents in the stand.
I think you may be underestimating the selfishness/ignorance/obliviousness of some people. If a game is going on while emergency services try and get to someone, you'll have people all over the stairs, blocking rows trying to watch the game, milling about down to the concourse etc etc.
If the game stops and fans are made aware, I guess the thought is to have nothing distracting from the relevant people doing their job and make people aware of what's happening.
Health and safety gone sensible.

I might be missing something but couldn't see much to get too worked up over with Lennon Miller:
20-ish goals/assists in 75-odd games at 18 is impressive, it's not a great league but it's competitive and physical.
Can't say I'd be excited if we were in the Prem, but could be a decent bet at Championship level for a modest fee if we get it over the line. He's got a bit of class about him imo.

Gutted for Palace and the fans in particular, but the phrase 'rules are written in blood' comes to mind. I'd say no club will make Palace's mistake again in a hurry.

I’ll admit that the club management must know better than I do, however from a supporters perspective this stinks if only for one reason - it’s rewarding failure upon failure. He’s nowhere near good enough or worthy of the Captains armband having Captained the worst Saints team for decades into relegation and yet he’ll be expecting a start every fucking game. What was the point of signing Quarshie, even if Bednarek and ABK departs? The lad is a loser.
This really does put into question the leadership of the club and I don’t want to believe this was anything other but forced onto Still because good ‘ol’ Jack the lad is a Saints stalwart. I really thought we’d be ditching the losers like Stephens, Manning and Smallbone. Nope, exhibiting soft as shit management, Saints reward failure with a new contract.
Agree apart from Manning. He didn't disgrace himself last season, I think he's got a part to play for this season only.

I've got no problems with the bloke other than the two stupid reds last season, he seems a good egg in the main.
But a contract until 2028?? I'd be surprised if any other top half Championship club would've offered him 12 months, it just seems a bit stupid.

That article suggests Downes is in discussions with Rangers but I don’t see how they afford him?
They are about to sell Igamane for a decent chunk, their first good sale for years.
But wages are a total no-go at the moment, only way it could happen is if they qualify for Champions League and we won't know that until later on in the summer.

I dunno - I thought Edozie was coming into his own before getting taken out by Norwich. By the time he'd recovered we'd brought in Brooks and Rothwell and he was reduced to a bit part player.
For me, I'd have a bit more patience if he'd cost us nish and came from the academy.
To cost £10m as a first team player and deliver what he has, it's disappointing. Not his fault though I guess.
Looking forward to seeing how he's come on next season

Picking a single stat doesn't tell the whole story.
He got 5 assists and 2 goals from 895 minutes.
Compare to Sam Edozie (6 goals and 3 assists from 1364 minutes) or Ryan Fraser (6 goals and 2 assists from 1633 minutes) which seems comparable to those two players. Then compare to Sulemana (0 goals and 3 assists from 950 minutes) and you have to pray that Atalanta's medical team are busy rubber stamping his transfer right now.
It just tells me all of our recent wingers have been gash, which we know.
Edozie and Sulemana have five-plus years on Brooks as well, although his stunted development is not entirely his fault with the illness etc

Fair enough. Certainly don’t recall the fact he was returning from his loan spell as a nightmare and the fan base up in arms.
Looked good in parts last season I thought but was anyone gutted he wasn’t staying on when we went up?Everyone was probably thinking 'let's sign someone better', which they promptly didn't do

You think Brooks would have been washed away with us? Welsh international who by all accounts had a very good season with Bournemouth just gone. Yeah, he wouldn't have improved us at all. Still, we had the likes of Onuachu and Sulemana to lift us to those heights. What do you class Dibling as? He's more of a so called luxury player than Brooks.
Yes, Dibling is a luxury player.
Welsh international is like being a World Cup of Bowls winner, utterly pointless to highlight that. He played less than 1000 Premier League minutes.
I just don't think he would've/will added/add anything, that's my opinion. Everything we've heard about Still suggests he wants physicality, pace, power etc.

He played in 29 Premier League games for a very good Bournemouth team last season. Do you think he washed away with the tide?
He was playing in a very aggressive, very front-footed side who happen to be very good - luxury players often do, with others picking up the slack. I'm not saying he's a totally awful player, but I don't think he would be any use in a relegation scrap.
He only started in nine of those games by the way, and he played under 1000 minutes. So...

Ditto, he's a bit of a luxury player. Would have been washed away with the tide along with the rest of our side in the Prem.

He made 25 appearances?
The Austrian Bundesliga season runs for 32 games, he played in 17 of those, plus six UCL games and two domestic cup games

Sorry, felt a bit MLG there. Off for a cold shower
You know what I mean though. To sign anyone from that league they'd have to be all-singing, all-dancing at that level.

Clark could barely get a game in Austria last term, sign him and we'll have learned fucking nothing
-
At least they won't have had the time to spunk their full wad of Hollyweird cash on new signings by then
Fucking boring and predictable first game, though

A sports quarter like Birmingham are planning would be much more interesting but probably a bit riskier than chucking up a load of slop and calling it development

No way anyone buyr that club for $475m. The only value in the club is the owner who leaves with the sale of the club.
More likely they sell portions off to private equity on a sliding scale up towards that valuation as and when they need money. Being involved with that club is surely a licence to print cash, at Championship level anyway

Not exactly a lot of pedigree in this new-look recruitment team, but I suppose we'll have to give SR (another) chance to nut up or shut up.

He seems like a gaudy idiot, just like the rest of the Saudi sport 'project'.
Stick to boxing mate, where you can throw money at it. Football is a bit different.
That's without getting into all the human rights stuff as well

Blimey these Singapore adverts on gambling are a bit wild, I thought that was going to end with him topping himself due to losing it all then.
I've got two Aussie idiots yapping on trying to hype up irrelevant international games, I'll be glad to see the back of them this summer

Fair play Sulemana
He's total shit with the ball at his feet but he's carried our so-called attack on his shoulders for half this season with no reward.
