Larin the best finisher we've had since Ings? I know the level is different but he has that instinct about him

Has there actually been any concrete interest in Jander? Is he training? Only links I've seen have been outside the Prem so can't see us banking the sort of profit we would want... remind him he's got a contract ffs

Why is anyone surprised THB would want to go to Villa and the club are in no position to really stop him, obviously fee permitting... even if we went up we probably would've had our hand forced. They're in the Champions League and he has aspirations of playing for England - whether it will work out that way for him is a different question. I've got a decent amount of trust in Spors etc to replace THB, preferably with two defenders, before the end of the window. Hopefully we can grab a decent winger and a good replacement for Charles too - even if one or two of those are loans.

A good player for this level, but not a great or irreplaceable one... Plus we know he will only ever be good for 30 games a season and that figure is only likely to decrease as he gets into his thirties. Move on, why not get someone in on loan from the Prem?

But for United? He wouldn't get a start... let's not forget that he wasn't in our first choice eleven this season. Somewhere like Everton or Fulham would be a better move, but I can't see him playing often enough there either.

Bizarre if United are truly after him, he's nowhere near good enough and will end up right back on loan in the Championship inside a year

Playing devil's advocate, can anyone see a scenario where we get to play on Saturday, win, but get something like a -10 for next season in the Premier League - making it effectively a dead rubber season but saving the club's skin financially? That would be a truly nightmarish scenario, I think I'd rather take our medicine in the Championship even if it's worse in the long term
