Exactly it’s just a job and we need the best person available to fill it. I’m not saying he is the best person but he can’t be overlooked just because he supported Pompey when he was growing up.
He wouldn’t be the first person with links to Pompey to come here. Some have faired better than others of course! But at this point I’m pleased that a manager with solid premier league experience is even interested in this job. I’d take him if he wants it. It would really piss off Pompey fans and a win there in January with him in charge would be epic banter.
I’d take Gary O’Neil. Forget about Pompey links, so many others like Ball, Channon, Crouch did as well. It’s not a barrier to success at saints. I think he’d bring us organised, hardworking, passionate performances which is what I’m craving
My instant reaction was hope that we’d appoint a manager with premier league experience, then I remembered the last we did that and appointed Mark Hughes.
Let’s get Rohl in.
I thought about waiting for this reason, but then I'd lose the chance to pay in 10 instalments which is the only way I can afford it. It's not the best way of selling tickets.
Just purchased my first ever season tickets. All my mates are glory hunter Liverpool/Arsenal etc. My two sons are now finally old enough and obsessed with all things saints that I can justify a season ticket. They're selling fast in the kids zone though... I'm a bit further back in block 16 than I would have chosen. COYS
