  1. Glad to see that this is good news for you!
  2. I'm not keen on this option; we need someone new, someone who already knows the league well.
  3. I sincerely hope that your next coach will do much better, my friends! 🙏🙏
  4. I'm not denying the facts, the figures are there and can be verified, it's obvious! If I have to be declared drunk? Yes! I'm drunk on my club! And I accept that! Once again, I completely respect your point of view, which is different from mine, but that's how it is, we can't all agree! Have a good evening.
  5. Will I ever have the chance to read a positive post from you? I'm not so sure! 🤔
  6. Loïc Tanzi is a French journalist who often has the right information. I think he's right and that Will will be fired soon.
  7. In all sincerity, friends, I have nothing to gain by defending Sport Republic. In any case, the statistics are there, as are the figures, and they cannot be disputed by anyone here or elsewhere. As I said, I'm sad to see that the season isn't going very well for you, and I would obviously like to see things improve. I enjoy our discussions whenever I have the opportunity, and I'm interested in your passion for your club. Thanks 🙏🤝
  8. Although we are not currently achieving the best results in terms of sport, I sincerely prefer to keep our current coach, Stéphane Moulin, rather than take yours, knowing that Will Still was previously the coach of our rival team. Will was determined to return to the United Kingdom to be closer to his family and his women, who had health issues, so I can't see him coming back to France.
  9. Friends, I'm saddened to read your reactions, which are perfectly understandable today... It's also saddening that the sporting results haven't been there... I expect some decisions from SR in the coming days. I already suspect Will Still's days are numbered and that you'll likely be changing coaches soon, which would make sense... Stay strong, everyone!
  10. The match has just ended at Stade du Hainaut. A 2-0 victory against Quevilly Rouen. Not the match of the year, but a valuable victory that boosts morale. In my opinion, we could have scored a lot more, but 2-0 is already good. Have a great evening, everyone, and Allez VA!
  11. Half-time now at the Stade du Hainaut. Valenciennes are ahead on the scoreboard! (1-0). Quevilly are playing with 10 men after receiving a red card. VA dominated overall in the first half. The supporters' banner on the theme of Halloween tonight: "Chase away the ghosts of the past".
  12. Hello friends, I hope you are all well today? Here is some news from Valenciennes. Tonight, we return to league action as we welcome Quevilly Rouen (Normandy) to the Stade du Hainaut. The club hasn't played for two weeks, and last Saturday, around fifty supporters took the opportunity to send messages to the players at the VAFC training centre. Below is a press article summarising this initiative: A respectful and cordial exchange lasting about ten minutes. I hope it will be beneficial for tonight's match! Speaking of tonight's match, I'm sharing the link below with you. Kick-off is at 7:30 p.m. French time, as usual. great day everyone ! Allez Valenciennes !
  13. I don't know anyone who likes losing money or spending it unnecessarily, and I think SR would much prefer to see a better return on investment... Unfortunately, this is not currently the case, and the sporting side is the most difficult to manage because there are parameters that he cannot control... This is very annoying because the sporting aspect is the most important thing in football. If the pitch works, the rest will work too...
  14. It's not a good time for the three SR clubs (except Goztepe, which is doing a little better)... Dragan must be mad! Stay strong, friends!
  15. The match has just ended. Aubagne 1-1 Valenciennes Goalscorers: - Sofiane BOUDRAA (7') for Aubagne. - Mabrouk ROUAI (87') for Valenciennes. Note that Aubagne's goalscorer belongs to... Valenciennes! He has been on loan this season...
  16. Goallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
  17. Is the match being filmed by a drone? ? 🤣
  18. Please know that I will always have eternal respect for my club and its institution. My opinion is and will remain that we should trust SR as much as we trusted EZ. You also mentioned Dirk Gerkens in another post, who is the club president, appointed by Dragan Solak last year. I don't think this role is the most important one in itself. The most important person, and the one who I believe has the most responsibility, is our managing director, Yohan Godin, who I know does his utmost every day to improve the management and day-to-day running of the club, and no one can fault him for his work. It's no surprise, nor is it a lie, and I agree with you too, the team is still not living up to our expectations, and I think the SR management is the first to be disappointed by this. However, the recruitment process was well chosen and the profiles are fairly consistent, but for the moment, it is not working perfectly. I can only hope that this will be resolved very soon and that Stephane Moulin will find the keys to making things better.
  19. « Je ne suis pas quelqu’un qui abandonne » : Stéphane Moulin a été déçu mais pas abattu pour relancer Valenciennes - La Voix du Nord
  20. Hello friends, how are you today? After last Friday's defeat against Concarneau, Valenciennes are playing away at Aubagne in the league tonight. I don't need to tell you that we're expecting a reaction from our players tonight, with what we hope will be a much better performance. Kick-off is at 7:30 p.m. French time, and the link to the match is below: In my next post, I'll also share a press article by our coach Stephane Moulin. Have a great day, everyone, and Allez VA!
  21. For my part, whenever I can watch a Southampton match, I do so. I've activated score alerts for you and also for our friends at Goztepe. It's always interesting to keep up with the results of other teams in the SR galaxy. In my opinion, however, this is not something that most of my compatriots do.
  22. I've just got back from the stadium, and I'm sad about tonight's defeat at home against Concarneau. We started the match quite well and opened the scoring with a bit of luck, in my opinion, but then our opponents equalised and at half-time the score was 1-1. In the second half, there was a bit of tension and we conceded a second goal. Valenciennes tried to get back into the game but couldn't manage it. There was a bit of tension, yellow cards were handed out... and we got our first red card, then a second one six minutes later... With 9 vs 11, the end of the match was complicated and despite a few attempts, notably by Rento Takoaka, we were unable to get back into the game... In my opinion, it was an avoidable defeat, and we expect a comeback on Tuesday when Valenciennes travel to Aubagne in the south of France. Allez VA!
  23. Half Time at the Stade du Hainaut VAFC 1-1 Concarneau Allez VA !
  24. Hello friends, how are you? Today, Valenciennes returns to league action, hosting Concarneau at the Stade du Hainaut. After being knocked out of the French Cup last weekend, all that remains now is the league and the goal of finishing as high as possible. Kick-off is at 7.30 pm French time as usual and will be broadcast on YouTube. -> Furthermore, out of respect for you, dear friends in Southampton, I will not comment on my compatriot's remarks above. Have a great day, friends! Allez VA !
  25. Hello friends, I hope you're all doing well! After a two-week break from competition for Valenciennes (VA played last weekend against Racing Club de Lens' B team, with a final score of 1-1), today is French Cup day for Valenciennes. It's the fifth round, and they're entering the competition with an away match against Croix Football (near Lille), currently in National 3 (the fifth division in France). Valenciennes already faced this team last season, also in the French Cup, qualifying on penalties after a 3-3 draw in regulation time (no extra time). Playing on their opponent's artificial turf, Valenciennes will need to be serious and focused to get through this round of the Cup. The match will not be broadcast on YouTube, but will normally be streamed on the club's official app. Kick-off is at 6 p.m. French time. Allez VA !
