  1. Matt may regret that bit of nonsense he put in his book to spice it upa bit.The few extra books sod will mean nothing to the tv money he will have lost.

Matt get some better consultants before you do more to hurt your status in football

Is Paul Merson still on Sky?

  2. I went with my two year old son. There were only two other Saints fans so when I went after half an hour because he was bored and it halved the Saints travelling support.

Penalty never was, karma for Saturday me thinks.

Positives from what I saw is that Papa looks good on the right, Holmes and Mills looked sharp playing together. Bart is a worry though - one flap and one Ben Foster moment.

  3. Lawrie Mac managed the teams that gave me the most pleasureable time in my footballing life, and I missed '76 and '79. For that I would buy the man a beer. Just the one the one though, as I would expct him to stand his round just like any other 'decent bloke'. I wouldn't go out of my way to do so, but if ever he does have the pleasure of meeting me, I would like to put my 'decent bloke' theory to the test.

    +1.

  4. Not sure about weak points, the minus 6 ponts is the real issue.

As others have said I think the new signings + Saga, Holmes and Mills will make a huge difference.

Watch Saints turnover Charlton and then lose to Torquay in true Saints fashion!

  5. 40 games to go. I don't suppose anyone has noticed that all the sides we have played are top half of table even.

Write off Charlton and judge how many of the 9 points we take after that.

  6. Who cares? It's a stupid, pointless competition. Play Forecast, Wotton, Pulis and the rest and give them a chance to prove themselves.

ZDS Cup Final - If you were there I am surprised you made this statement.

  7. according to some spurs forums, it's £4m combined for Niko and David James.

There will be no one left from the cup final squad....what a shame.

When you consider that will include Arry's fee, good business for Spurs.

  8. we may be making hard work of getting a win but there is always something to smile about.them lot down the road,4 games, nil points.lol oh happy days, relegation certainties, coyr

Will be interesting to see who is first to get past zero points.

  9. its boring not to agree with the happy clapper 'In AP we trust' brigade? This is a forum. Open discussions etc

Time is not on our side at the moment. We need to string together 3 or 4 wins ASAP

ASAP - All Support Alan Pardew?

  10. Anyone who knows this management anecdote will understand why we are still in a habit of throwing away leads.

FFS, to say Pardew's job is on the line is a joke. If we keep scorig first we will start converting and all will be fine. If you look at the players we have bought in they are better than what we have.

Keep the faith, that's what makes a Saint.

  11. Oh right I get it. You publish your business plan including your transfer budget and targets for all and sundry to peruse

Your last paragraph merely repeats the total guess as to where the finance is coming from. You know no more than the rest of us....

Erm, he did whilst at City, what's different now then?

  12. I think that they were comparing him with the host of a reality TV programme.

Starts with fifteen inept hopefuls, sends them out weekly for thankless tasks and whittles them down to a final two. Yep sounds like Pompey's transfer policy thus far this season.

  13. Oh great, someone ITK. Tell us then, what figures you have at your disposal to back up the above claim?

The fact that your man has no figures himself at his disposal is all I need to back it up.

LMAO at Solent calling him the Middle East equivalent of Alan Sugar, remind me how did Spurs did with him at the helm.

Nothing has changed, by securitising and securing debts against future income if you do get relegated the baloon will pop even louder.
