Bollocks. This has only been rumoured since last week with Jordon saying it 48hrs ago. If the OWNER of a Premier League football club had even hinted that it's for sale in an interview anywhere at any time that would have been literally all over the fucking place quicker than a cat through a catflap.

No but a rumour as big as this i would expect to see at the very fucking least at some point in the last week "I've heard a rumour the club is for sale, I need to confirm" etc.. But there was litterally NOTHING. Posting fucking memes you find on the internet that could apply to almost ANY situation that occurs doesn't quite cut it.

I think in light of today's developments we can pretty much assume every name we've been linked with as bullshit. No way would the club be looking to install a permanent manager while it's up for sale. Mind you... Having a guy in place could help the sale but don't takeovers generally bring in their own people. I don't know... It's a fucking shitshow tbh

They haven't had the inside track on saints in YEARS. Blackmore gets the odd exclusive here and there but he's never been "ahead" on anything in I don't know how long. By the time either of them say anything it's hardly fucking news. And also...Blackmore went in pretty hard on SportsRepublic with studs up a few weeks ago so I'm guessing his access is about zero these days. I don't think I've ever seen him dig out club hierarchy while he was still getting exclusives.

I reckon this has been the rudest of rude awakenings for Solak and it's hit him like a ton of bricks how much it takes to compete in the Premier League for a club of our size. It's near on fucking impossible unless you're a mega billionaire Solak is rich, but is he Premier League football club owner rich? If I'm Solak and I've just had the season we've just had, I would be thinking what's the fucking point.

He definitely didn't say that like he was looking for a reaction. And I can't tell if Jim White heard him say it or not he was organising his notes but there was no reaction from him whatsoever. Keown definitely heard it he was looking straight at him.

I agree with what you're saying but this is not the kind of thing you'd just blurt out for a reaction. This is the sort of thing people get sued for. Simon Jordan can be a tosspot of the highest order, but seriously he's not that daft especially in the presence of Jim White who is supposed to be very connected to Solak. I didn't hear the piece, but I'd be interested to know from anyone that did, what Whites reaction was when Jordan said it. I feel that's quite important here.. it would add a hell of lot of context.
