Still no evidence beyond social media then? Perhaps the US shouldn't have made statements that they had proof.
-
Well I've got infinitely more respect for this sort of post than some of the others I get As long as you know where I'm coming from. They stop being personal, so do I.
-
Pointed replies are one thing. The level of abuse I've gotten on here has been out of control. And for what, because I hold different ideas in my head? It's only my narcissism (right, Tim?) that has allowed me to continue In terms of audience, I'm encouraged by developments over the last couple of years. I had far more people on my case back then, and no-one was really interested. These days, I've got support on a number of the issues I've raised and my list of regular detractors is down to about two. One positive thing about the abuse I get is that it allows others to post, so there's that.

Hi Minty. You've been present on these threads long enough to know the score. You'll know that historically, I've had to deal with the same four morons that have unfailingly produced all sorts of "personal rubbish" aimed at me. You're asking me to drop my revolver in a four against one gun fight. Let's do the list shall we? So far, I've had mental disorders ( buctootim & aintforever ), been an anti-semite (Verbal, btt), been an embarrassment to both my father and my kids (CB Fry), an idiot or a nutter. This has been going on for two years. So yes, my main interest now does lie in showing these people up for the bullies that they are, because with all of the above, sensible discussion is impossible. If that causes me to lose respect, so be it - but know that it goes both ways.

Saw these on Facebook. Interesting.

Consider this a follow-up to Picard's posted video. At the end of that one, the Russians challenge the US to produce the evidence they have. Here, a US reporter asks the same thing. "Do you have any evidence other than social media?"
-
I've been watching the video you linked again. I'll be interested to see whether the Russians can seek, or indeed provide any sort of independent verification, especially on important stuff like the location of those anti-air batteries and whatever the voice recorder turns up. This week's No Agenda show covers MH17 for about the first 90 minutes. http://mp3s.nashownotes.com/NA-636-2014-07-20-Final.mp3 I wouldn't be on-board with everything Messrs Curry and Dvorak peddle on their show, but they do a fair job of scouring the media and dissecting it, when Adam Curry isn't getting the wrong end of the stick, which is often (their WC conspiracy theories were so far off the mark it was unbelievable). Some decent listening here though, with a lot of focus on the language used to describe events.

I love the gay references. The only people who get really offended are homophobes. Didn't call you it directly though. What two men get up to in the comfort of a Premier Inn is entirely their concern. I'd pegged the pair of you as being so excited about finally meeting each other, you'd ejaculate on the spot. If you wanna take that further, it's up to you. I'm not your mum or your judge. So in your little moment of anger, you've decided to go for the anti-semitic label too. It lost its power once Netanyahu called boycott supporters anti-semitic. Indeed, I read a very good quote the other day. "Anti-semitic used to describe people who didn't like Jews. Now it describes people Jews don't like". Netanyahu's definition to a tee. For the record though, I don't give a crap about what people choose to self-identify themselves as. I do think that Israel is the most prolific rogue state going, and that historical sensitivities should not preclude being robust with the Israelis over present day concerns. You want to label that anti-semitic, fill your boots - but I go back to what I said in my previous post - making you look a bigger c**t than you manage yourself is quite the task.

Ah, superb. I'll tell the kids I won the admiration of a fool today. Constrain your educational advice to yourself, though ainttooclever. You need it more than me. What a load of nonsense. I post all over this site on loads of different subjects. My main interest on this site now lies in making the likes of you and ainttooclever look bigger c**ts than you manage yourselves, which is quite the task, I can tell you. I think the pair of you should just get a room. Premier Inn is very cheap these days and is advertised by the reputable Lenny Henry. Fk it. You can both call my name when you come if you want*. * that's a username-only offer, kids.

I've used tons of different versioning systems over the years, if you count five as "tons". What I really like about git is the return to the command line. I've been win-based for the last decade or so, although I started out in the Unix world. Accordingly, I've spent too much time mucking about through the abstraction of a GUI. git comes with bash, so I've been enjoying all of the piped one-liners which make you look like Gandalf to your peers*. * A benefit I no longer have, working from home

Oh aye, but contrary to what you might have read from others, I very rarely say "x definitely happened". No point. People don't like being told what to think, and I'd be lying if I said I knew anyway. Unfortunately, my unpaid PR department do a fúcking terrible job of representation. Most of the stuff they get so annoyed about are simply questions about dodgy aspects of reported events, although that doesn't stop them from saying I believe this, or I believe that. I've gone to considerable lengths to distinguish "belief" from "taking stuff seriously". They don't listen I'd sack them, but they love their jobs.

Also makes the repeated claims that the Ukrainian military have no assets in the area look ridiculous. I accept that a rebel shoot down could be an option, but I think its crazy to have an authoritative opinion on who did what so early in the game, in the middle of a war zone. If nothing else, this proves the effectiveness of propaganda on the weak-minded. They'd be fúcked if they ever met a jedi

He was part of the group that weren't going to pay their subs because of the GS/BS constant crap. I thought that was a little dramatic, and may have used some colourful language expressing that, but I do miss OSM and want him back

Interesting blog piece. http://southamptonantifa.wordpress.com/2014/07/22/immigration-street-coming-to-southampton-or-is-it-2/ This'll end well....

Cheers genius. I made that point myself posts ago.

They are probably just happy to be part of history. They are the biggest civilian population to be bombed in Europe since WW2. Not so happy pictures in this link:- http://revolution-news.com/the-bombing-of-civilians-in-lugansk-by-the-kyiv-government-graphic-behind-ukraines-walls-of-fire-iv/

You don't know me. Your continued presumption that you do is a source of constant amusement. Are you a medical doctor, like Tim? Anyway, I see that you found the one point you could argue on and very proud we are of you for making a fair stab given the available resources. Still, keep the patronising nastiness up. It'll make your big reveal day all the sweeter.
-
Thanks, Picard - FWIW, I agree with Tim - bit heavy going, but some interesting claims in there regardless. Someone is lying, and it's well worth remembering that we live right at the center of the de facto Anglo-American bubble. There are other power blocs out there that'll get past the very heavy accents and perk up to listen to what the Russians have to say. BRICS members would spring to mind. So if someone is lying, what do we believe? The Russians put forward some reasonably detailed evidence in support of their claims. I know you can always knock a nation when they use their own data in a clear conflict of interests, but this is a little different from Israeli intelligence reports claiming that Assad DEFINITELY did the chemical attacks, dovetailed with Hague saying "vanishingly small" a lot (bit like his career, then). There is a degree of independent verification that can be sought, not least with the flight recorders that have just been released for investigation. Anyway, major Russian claims:- Ukrainian BUKs nearby (photography) Ukrainian Military aircraft near MH17, despite Ukr claims to contrary Major questions:- The US reckon they've got footage of the missile being launched. The Russians are quite keen on seeing it. The Russians showed a picture of a BUK, allegedly in Ukr-loyal hands, in an apparently "fired" state. Video is tough going, but worth a watch.

Coming from the man who goes around libelling people as child abusers. Consider your views in context, sir. Worth reminding people, innit?

I've been learning git and had to look that up. Looks like git's version of a symbolic link. I'd say it's most useful for peeps that have a set of common libraries (base, data, etc) they want to include in their bespoke projects, but don't want to have to rely on parent path file structures to reference them. That's very useful, actually - bletch. Might use it myself.
-
Bletch, it occurs to me that "stalking" is a frequent accusation on this site. I'm sure that with your mastery of the Tapatalk API, sir could see if any of these claims were justified. I've done a bit of prep-work on this proposal. Both nowyourestalking.com and nowyouarestalking.com are available.

Already quite good at this. Not so good at this.

No, you're avoiding any serious discussions of the points made by referring to a year old argument, which you and your pals said you'd never discuss again, in an effort at a quick coup de grace. Tell me. How many times has that worked exactly? Your big boss Verbal is in hiding from his own identity & Complete Bollócks Fry has moved on to destroying himself with his own content. I'm still here, getting asked for my opinions on this thread on matters conspiracy. Bang up job on character assassination there, boys x

MH17 deviated, a point which you tacitly acknowledged by changing your "It didn't deviate!" post to "...".
-
Indeed. The Ukrainians have been bombing the shít out of their own people during the course of this civil war, not something that you're hearing a great deal about in the media. You can bet that the rebels have been trying to shoot shít out of the sky. I think most laymen will accept that the picture of those flight routes shows MH17 veering off its normal course. Get the appropriate disinformation into the rebel ranks (military plane flying out at....) and you have all the ingredients for an international incident.
