Have you two sorted out your game later, Bert and Rick?

Wasn't sure whether to start a new thread or not. When the current tournament is done, the idea is a larger tournament, where there is a group stage, and then a knockout tournament where the top two or four (depending on how many in groups) go through to the knock-outs. Will leave this up for a few days so people can see it and hopefully we can get more than 8 people that we had for the first one. If you could write on here with your PSN or online tag, whatever it's called so I know the numbers we'll have and whether to do it or not. There's not a problem if you have a mate that would like to join in with it too, the more the merrier. Cheers.

Through so far.. Griffo, saint_bert's mate and now mattbrennan. Just waiting for Saint_Rick (Spurs) V saint_bert (Hamburg) to be played and then we can get on with the semi's and hopefully the final today.

I will hopefully, just need there to be the interest for it because we only just scraped 8 people this time. 8 would be fine again though, just a league and then knockout would work much better! Would you all be up for that again? I'll do the next round in order of who has gone through. So I'll play Bert's mate and the winner of the other two games will make up the other semi-final. Try and get those games played tomorrow at some point so we can have the semi's and maybe even the final in the evening!

For the next one I think I may do it with a league where you obviously play 7 games and the top 4 go through to a mini-knockout tournament. That sound better? Btw, won second leg 4-3 meaning I win 7-5 on aggregate. Through so far - Griffo and Saint_Bert's mate. If you can tell him to preferably add whoever he is playing and get the games out of the way tonight that'd be good.

I've just had a thought.. if the first leg was say, 2-1 and the second leg was 2-1 to the other player.. the game will not play to extra time and penalties obviously. To resolve this I think it would be easiest to just play one more game and the winner of that (extra time and penalties if need be) will go through.

Two of them aren't registered users on here so I think it'll take a while for people to come back here.

Right I'm bored of this **** now. Tell your mate he's in saint_bert. What's his PSN and I'll add him at the top? Can everyone involved post on here please so I know if you're here. Juventus It was done by having 8 bits of paper with the 8 teams on, and 8 pieces with the numbers on. They were put face down and matched up.

If any of you know anyone else from Saints Web that has a ps3 then ask them if they're up for it. Make sure you're all around tonight so we can hopefully get the first round out of the way tonight.

Cheers. If any of you know anyone else on the forum that has it then ask them to put their name in so we can get this up and running.

Also, seen as using only 8 players would mean that you would only get 3 games at most, I've decided that all games apart from the final will be two legged. No away goals though. Up to the two players to organise the game themselves and get it played, and then write the aggregate score on here afterwards.
