My main gripe was pricing , no early bird/ renewal discount said to me my long standing commitment to the club by buying a season ticket every year for a decade or so was no longer valued.

If we appoint the man that Ericb refers to, and yes, I know who it is, no one will be disappointed. The man in question is currently still in position but big question marks as to whether he will remain so.
We were linked last summer, contact was made, but a "can't turn down" offer was forthcoming.
We stand a much better chance this time.
Let's hope he's leaving Psg soon then !

I have a Liverpool fan in the office here and he told me months ago the price was agreed with all parties, but was conditional on Liverpool achieving Champions League qualification. He is sure they have the deal agreed.
Then what's stopping it being announced?

Sure people won't like this but i’ve been told in the next few weeks to expect a “very well briefed” story in the press about VVD to Liverpool.
No ****, expect the same story recycled for city , United and Chelsea!

As I've said before, if all those boring 0-0 games had ended 3-3 or 4-4 we'd have ended up in exactly the same league position and I don't think anybody would be calling for Puel to be axed.
No they wouldn't people pay their money to experience that joy and adrenaline rush you get when your team scores a goal and that has been in short supply this season!
