Let's all apply the handbrake and wait for the Police invesitgation before stating who is to go to prison. For all we know there is no case to answer other than a clubber fell over outside a night club.

Sorry to say this but to me you are demonstrating the same attitude of some of these bouncers by indicating the size of your physique, and the fact that it took a lot of them to eject you because of your prowess. Why did you have to throw those comments in? Also, I used to go clubbing in the 80's, and to me bouncers were just as bad then as they are now. Likewise there were just as many drink/testosterone fuelled clubbers being prats after at the end of each night. Some things never change.
Yep. The 80's had plenty of bouncers at clubs and plenty of drink fuelled punch-ups.

Would go to Eastleigh but they hate saints and charge 12 quid to stand with a bunch of morons.
Wrong.
Many fans and a few directors are SC supporters/seasn ticket holders.
Go watch EFC and enjoy it.

I had a look at the Thurrock website and it looks like they didn't use him once!!! Despite leaking many goals he still didn't get to displace their own keeper!!

In one of the on-line papers Di Canio is having a go at Harding - Why?

This.
Warnock is looking purely from QPR's perspective- he wanted the cash asap.
Yet again the fecking Echo are quick to print the negative views of another club. Very sad.

What is the best autobiography some of you have read?
I would say a David Beckham one I found in a holiday cottage we rented, found him interesting with loads to share.
Worse - Strauss from the Ashes down under this year, almost skipped pages to put me out of my misery.
I did enjoy the Le Tiss one but I felt he held back on so many things.
Alan Ball's is definately worth a read as is both of Mike Channons and Terry Venables.

Whats it coming to when a bloke in his early 20s is writing his autobiography.
I'm eagerly awaiting Harper Seven Beckham's book WAG Fashion Tips for the 2030 World Cup Finals
Yes, it's firkign ridiculous but it seems anything in football will sell these days. I don't blame him in the least for exploiting people dumb enough to buy a story of a 22 year old's life!

The problem is its costing him a lot of money to stay at the club.
Unfortunately this is probably what his agent is telling him.

3 nil up!! WTF!!!!

Let's not get suicidal if the scoreline is not in our favour tonight!
The wheels will remain firmly attached to the bus whatever happens.
You know who you are.

To be fair - As much as Wupert was a c*nt...he was generally good at getting a decent amount for players.
He was also good at negotiating players wages. Let's enjoy the 15m and leave the past behind.

One season too soon in my opinion. I'm sure his father is very happy now.

How about the state of the global economy being a factor????

I happen to agree with you Roger that is why I am not at St Marys today but leave all that aside. Do you see the sort of abuse that comes your way when you dare to put up a perfectly valid opinion. A forum is an arena to debate the issues. This forum is an arena to hurl bile and vitriole when someone doesnt agree with your point of view. Someday it might return to what it should be but dont hold your breath.
SO you missed today's game because you didn't like seeing the chairman's picture on the match day programmme?
Unbelievable!

Without delving back into the archives, I think the wording was quite loose for the games played, in that we agreed to send a "strong" squad. I'm not sure if a "first team" squad was part of the deal. As for the Saturday thing, I've not heard that raised before. But if Eastleigh do indeed have a legal case, there are no more games in the loop due as part of the Martin deal, so they may pursue it. Although in doing so they'd completely write-off any chance of future fixtures with us, so you'd have to question the logic of it with a potential £20K at stake. It's not as if they've "lost" that money in any case, its entirely subjective how much extra they could have made from the game.
I don't think it is any where close to being a legal problem. My recollection is the last few Saints pre-season games with EFC have been earlier in the summer and with teams closer resembling a first team. I have been to 2 or 3 and it has been on a Saturday with attendance over 2,000. EFC probably feel last night's game was not within the 'spirit' of the agreement - that's all. EFC will not want to sour any relationship and I am sure SFC did not deliberately renege on the deal. I like EFC and if Saints are away I will watch when over.

Unfortunately some of the posters on this thread are so self obsessed they want an hourly update personally given to them by NC.
