I have now deleted every single fragment of FM files/data off my laptop. Nothing remains. I let my Dad borrow my game to see if it worked for him and he has installed it no problem. When I get it back I should, in theorie, have a blank canvas. Hope it works. I love FM and hope I can get back playing it soon. Cheers for your help S_C

UPDATE. I deleted all saved games. Uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Still the same problem. Gutted.

I find singing to the Metallica game the best bit. Especially Dyers Eve.
