I went to Ajax v Excelsior last season as in Amsterdam wife running half marathon. Tadic scored and created a couple with some great crosses but he didn’t have a defender near him all game. He strolled around into space and no-one tackled him. If you give him that space his quality will hurt you but he won’t be coming here again as would get battered.

Especially if we don’t have anyone to cross too….how often last season did we have just 1 v 4. On paper looks a very good signing.

At Ageas last night happy to have pictures taken with fans and chat. He told mate we could look forward to some good football and season this year.

In French football that has no pace of play much power or aggression compared to English football. Fonte at nearly 40 is ridiculous and absolutely no sanity to it just ruled from heart. After 4-5 games of getting found out he would get slaughtered by our fan base. Perraud was supposed to be one of best full backs he does one run and blows out of his arse. As have said before we could make far better use of his wages on areas we need it.

Emotions aside are we really saying Fonte at 39 is a realistic signing? Are wages not better spent on a striker or keeper? Some on here were moaning about Coady lack of pace! Its like an old girlfriend never go back never same second time.

If there is a player we want thrown in yes I can but I think on it’s own 30-35m is minimum for him but can’t see many chasing him TBH.

I think we have to accept this is SR model buy young sell on for profit. The thing we had wrong was the quality of the experienced to match that philosophy.

What’s the point in our academy if we are just going to buy City’s though? Doesnt this block routes for players like Doyle?

My lad reffed a game at Staplewood when Huckerby and Murty ran Norwich academy I think u16s. Huckerby was a complete twat and Murty often told him to be quiet. Good side Norwich won 3-1.
