I hate losing but you lot on here are incredible. A bunch of ingrates who throw their dummies out of the pram. Werent doing that in May.
It was obvious we were not a PL team, we finished 4th.
I know you wont like the truth but to give up after 3 , yes 3 games!!!!!
Give up? Look at the goals we're conceding you absolute melon.

Brentford fans jeering Ramsdale like he had anything to do with any of the goals 😂

We are so brave.

Could this day get any better? First Ramsdale, and now bringing in £10m for a player who's never going to get a game here (and likely won't at Brentford either in all honesty). SR really are on fire.

Expected a battering but we were actually pretty bloody good. Very disappointing result but can't be disappointed with how we played. Was Suga injured? Taking him off was a horrible decision if not.
BBD will score goals for us, and Arma will have a far better season compared to the one when we got relegated.
Overall encouraging for the season.
The less said about McCarthy and our fucking around at the back the better.

It's going to be painful. Just hope we can make it at least a little bit competitive.

What happens if you want to watch it on a reasonable sized laptop screen instead of a pissy small phone screen?!
Laptops are pretty advanced these days. They can load websites and everything.

This looks pretty good to be fair
Pure class. Why are fan mocks up always so much better than what we get dished up?

He'll put in performances next season which suggest he absolutely is good enough to play in the Premier League. But he'll also have plenty of shockers. Which will nicely summarise why he plays for us not somebody better. Good to have him on board for longer, but it wouldn't be a bad thing if we sign a better player in his position.

Should have stayed with Hummel.
That Hummel Sunderland kit is a right old mess. Red and White with black trim looks so much better, and the pattern on the stripes looks awful too. Ours isn't perfect but it's far cleaner and more stylish than that Sunderland effort.
-
The kit looks awful in that dodgy pic that Master Bates posted, but in the proper pics it looks really quite nice. Decent sized stripes, black trim. Sponsor is at least mostly black and white which fits the overall colour scheme - not full of dodgy colours which clash horrifically. The back would be better with stripes but at least it's not plain red.
Yep it's pretty much what everyone has been asking for in terms of a red and white striped kit. Nothing incredible but certainly not the "abomination" some silly billies have claimed. 6.5 or 7 out of 10.

You're absolutely obsessed aren't you? Didn't even notice it until your post. Anything you'd like to share with us? It's ok, we'll all be very supportive.

As an Eastleigh ST holder, I'll be cheering on the spitfires for this game from block 5.
Obviously, pretty much all Eastleigh supporters are saints supporters too, so should be a nice friendly game
I'll be the judge of that

Is that really being argued against?
It's a dog whistle. 😂

The squad diligently “practising penalties” ahead of such matches cos it’s helpful in the event of a penalty shootout is one of the most popular dog whistle football myths going.
What it actually does is identify that one or two of them are capable - and the rest should never be allowed to take them. That’s why the team always has a nominated taker and a back up taker( or two) if he’s not on the pitch.
The team that lets it be known it is “practising penalties” are psychologically conditioning themselves NOT TO WIN in normal time.
If I hear that the opposition are “practising penalties” I’m delighted. It’s a sign of fear and weakness.I absolutely DO NOT want to have RM tell us the team are practising practising penalties. I want to hear WBA are however.
Tell us you know nothing about football, without telling us you know nothing about football.

Let's look on the bright side. The way Martin plays + Bazunu would have been utterly destroyed in the Premier League. At least next season we get to beat the fishy few twice.

Play offs will be fun. Or not.

Some people want to meet up, have a few pre-match drinks and sing some songs at the football? F**king hell what a load of modern nonsense. Not in my name.

simple question - if you had the choice, what you you prefer, go up this season or play Pompey at Wembley in next years playoff final?
Not sure how that's even a question. Obviously I'd prefer us to go up this season. Playing the fishy few in a game at Wembley isn't some kind of achievement, thought it would be interesting.
