3.45am kick off for me. Woot.

For me, yesterday was the most mental goal celebration since the Viafara/Rasiak goals in the Derby play off away leg.

absolutely incredible night that, and incredible celebrations. despite the result and horrible way we were beaten that remains one of my favourite footballing experiences. simply because of the importance of those goals and the ridiculous celebrations.

Tell you what though Dagenham & Redbridge must be excited that all they need to buy is a Rickie Lambert type striker and they'll soon be top of the Championship.

Not totally correct as we have only played 12 games this season and the game before that was in League 1. So we've scored in all 12 games, not 'failed' to score.

I managed to watch about 45 minutes in total, the connection wasn't great over here. But from what I saw we looked comfortable and dominant.

Good result, let's hope Lallana's injury isn't too bad.

has anyone asked the club directly what the process is to use the flag, and once we know that we can judge whether or not it really is excessive effort

From what I can remember from the latest response from the club I think it's the Police that need to be satisfied. But I'm not 100% sure, take a look at the thread for more info

i'm a busy man, can you summarise it for me?

something about a stupid amount of paperwork needed to bring it out on show for each game, so it's going to be saved for the "big ones". or in other words, Cortese is an evil dictator who needs ousting if we're ever to move forward as a club.

I am not overly bothered, but does no one else think it is a bit strange that fans club together to buy what looked like a superb flag, the fund was then "topped up" by the club who deemed it appropriate to take ownership and control of it? so far it has made an appearance at a poorly attended pre-season friendly when many were on holiday, and it's not like we lack space to put it, the Itchen North corner is left empty at every game.

They can definitely put the charge through the machine without you being there and I'm pretty sure they're within their rights to do so. Like somebody said, it's happened to me at many hotels where I didn't check out but they took a swipe of my card on check in.
